Spoilers are ahead. Do not continue reading unless you want to know what to expect on tonight’s episode.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the synopsis for The Originals Season 4, Episode 11 has been released. A lot will be going on with the characters, but it is revealed that The Hollow will make Kol an ultimatum. It is possible that he will betray the Mikaelson family.

“When it’s discovered that The Hollow is using a magical totem to fuel her power, Freya (Riley Voelkel) enlists Rebekah (guest star Claire Holt) and Klaus’ (Joseph Morgan) help to locate and destroy it. Elsewhere, an ultimatum by The Hollow puts Kol at odds with his own siblings, while an unexpected run-in forces Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Rebekah to confront the growing tension between them. Finally, The Hollow’s plan for Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) leaves her in the fight of her life.”

In an interview with TV Line, Nathaniel Buzolic discussed the upcoming episode. He said that fans will be surprised with Kol’s softer side and talked about the relationship with Davina. As viewers know, she has been brought back to life. However, her life is tethered to The Hollow’s.

“If you love the divide between Kol and his siblings, you’ll probably love this episode. It’s an awesome episode where Kol finally gets to reconnect with Davina on some level, and when you see everything he’s willing to do for her, it goes to show how much he loves her. He’s also sort of returning a favor; she brought him back, so now he feels like it’s on him to help her and solve this huge dilemma in light of The Hollow being in New Orleans. There’s also a conflict of interest that comes up in the episode that I think the audience will enjoy.”

During the interview with Buzolic, the issue of how Kol changes when he is around Davina was discussed. When asked for the reason, The Originals actor explained that it is about love being able to change anyone or anything. He said that love is the most important thing and that is what changes Kol. Now, the question is, how far will he go for the person that he loves?

“It comes down to that age-old idea that love is the most important thing. That’s definitely what’s changed Kol, especially when you look at his history on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. There was never any love there, so as soon as it’s introduced, it’s a complete swing. Now the question is: What will he do for love?”

Fans are wondering if Kol Mikaelson will actually betray his family for love. However, that is not the only thing that happens with Kol in Season 4, Episode 11. He will also have a moment with Hope Mikaelson (Summer Fontana). For the first time, viewers will see him in a new role, as Uncle Kol. Perhaps actually interacting with the little girl will have the character making the right decision. As much as he loves Davina, helping the villain will only lead to devastating consequences.

What do you think of what Nathaniel Buzolic teased about The Originals Season 4, Episode 11? Will Kol Mikaelson betray his family to keep Davina alive? With the magical totem missing, how will the characters defeat The Hollow?
