‘Black Panther’ Marvel Movie Poster’s Art Praised, Roasted On Twitter: Game 4 Teaser Trailer Video On The Way

Marvel Studios released a new movie poster for Black Panther, which is getting quite the reaction on social media. Marvel also announced that the Black Panther teaser video trailer would be shown during the Game 4 NBA Finals game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors, on Friday, June 9.

What Do You Think Of Marvel Studios Black Panther Poster?

On Twitter, not everyone is a fan of how 40-year-old Chadwick Boseman is being portrayed in the Marvel Studios Black Panther one-sheet, while others are quite pleased and expressing their excitement for the upcoming movie using GIFs and memes on social media. Of note is the fact that Chadwick isn’t wearing a mask in the Black Panther movie poster, which highlights the fact that this Black Panther is a black man.

Boseman rose to fame as an actor for playing Jackie Robinson in the movie 42, as well as starring as James Brown in Get on Up. Chadwick also starred as T’Challa in another Marvel Studios movie, Captain America: Civil War. However, it is the new Black Panther movie poster and the upcoming teaser trailer that is getting all the buzz for Boseman on Friday. Some of those comments are focusing on the use of Photoshop for the movie poster, as some viewers allege.

As reported by Forbes, it is a common occurrence for Marvel Cinematic Universe posters to unmask their heroes, so it’s not a new thing for the Black Panther movie poster to show their hero without a mask. With Black Panther scheduled to be released on February 16, 2018, fans have a long time to wait and anticipate the movie.

The Hollywood Reporter states that the Black Panther movie teaser trailer, which will be the first teaser trailer for the film, can be viewed at any point after the NBA Finals game begins, which is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. PT and 9 p.m. ET on ABC.

Staying tuned to Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube channel will likely help fans catch a sneak peek of the Black Panther movie trailer as well. The movie stars not only Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, but the film also features Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Danai Gurira. Chadwick is the king of Wakanda in the Black Panther movie, and he is also the hero known as Black Panther.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the movie is set post-Captain America: Civil War, which let fans know who T’Challa was. Now that Marvel has fans excited with the poster, comments like the ones below are published beneath the movie poster on Twitter.
