Kourtney Kardashian Is Not Financially Supporting Larsa Pippen Amid $120 Million Divorce [Debunked]

Larsa Pippen finally broke her silence about the spreading rumors that her close friend, Kourtney Kardashian, has been supporting her financially after her nasty divorce from NBA legend Scottie Pippen.

Earlier today, Larsa Pippen took to Instagram and set the record straight about speculations that she was “being bankrolled” by Kourtney Kardashian. In her post, the 42-year-old actress vehemently denied rumors, adding that the story was “so false.”

The Real Housewives of Miami star shared a screenshot of what appears to be a news article claiming that “Larsa Pippen is relying on Kourtney Kardashian financially after being cut off by estranged husband Scottie Pippen.”

“Where do they get this from!!” Larsa captioned the Instagram post. “So false.”

On the other hand, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star doesn’t seem to be bothered by the allegations and even managed to poke fun of the situation. Apparently, Kourtney sarcastically replied to Larsa Pippen’s post, “Anything for you my boo” complete with jet, ring, and money emoji’s.

Meanwhile, E! News also revealed that Scottie Pippen’s lawyer confirmed that the story is “incorrect.” The news outlet also cited that both parties “are currently working on reconciliation as was represented in court this morning.”

Larsa Pippen’s attorney also backed up the clarification, adding that the rumor about Kourtney Kardashian funding her client is “highly inaccurate.”

“The subject article is highly inaccurate. I can tell you that as [Scottie’s lawyer] and I advised Judge Cohen today in court, the parties are working towards a reconciliation.”

To recall, DailyMail.com broke the news about Kourtney Kardashian’s alleged financial support to Larsa Pippen. According to the news site, the actress has been “cut off” by her estranged husband Scottie Pippen when he allegedly “seized control of the family accounts and is denying her access to cash.”

“Kourtney [Kardashian] has been looking after her and making sure she’s all right, and providing for her in between.”

It was also revealed that the eldest Kardashian sister has been letting Larsa stay in the house and even asked her lawyer, Laura Wasser, to help Pippen with the case, particularly in money matters.

“She’s been giving her advice. But it’s all about the money – he’s [Scottie] not been giving her any money, he’s been holding it over her.”

Apparently, sources close to the actress revealed that the ex-couple are both fighting hard with regards to the financial aspect, adding that the mother of four is close to being broke.

“She’s been going back and forth between LA and Florida but she’s been stranded because she doesn’t have any money.”

“There’s a lot of back and forth with regards to the money,” the source added. “Her plan is to get as much as she can but he’s being really tough and really cheap about it. He’s fighting tooth and nail about everything with regards to the money.”

On October last year, Scottie Pippen filed for divorce from Larsa after 19 years of marriage. Although the two have not confirmed the real reason behind their split, many speculated that Larsa’s alleged affair with rapper Future was the major cause of the rift. However, the two denied the malicious rumors, clarifying that they are “friends” and have nothing to do with the split.

According to reports, the retired NBA superstar is demanding for shared custody of their four children and a “greater share” of the estimated $120 million fortune. In addition, Scottie Pippen allegedly wants to relocate their children to Chicago, which his ex-wife strongly opposed.

The former Chicago Bulls star player is also reportedly eager to avoid making any alimony payments to Larsa Pippen “including permanent, rehabilitative, durational, bridge-the-gap or lump sum.”

However, Larsa Pippen is reportedly not giving up easily and is hoping to overturn the prenup agreement and eventually get “as much money as she can.”

“She wants to challenge [the prenuptial agreement] and that’s part of what they’re going to be discussing,” a source revealed. “Her main wish to overturn the prenup and to release some of the funds now because she needs it. He has cut her off.”
