Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg explained at PaleyFest that they were not going to have a speedster as the principal antagonist in Flash Season 4, TV Line reported. The new season is set to introduce a new villain, Clifford DeVoe (aka The Thinker), a legal eagle-turned-supervillain.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 3

In Legends of Tomorrow Season 3, Tala Ashe will be introduced as Muslim-American woman Zari Adrianna Tomaz, a new member of the team aboard the Waverider. The actress is joining as a series regular.

Riverdale Season 2

Premiere Date, Time: Wednesday, October 11, at 8 p.m.

When TV Line asked Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa to describe Season 3, he said, “civil war.” He also confirmed that Veronica’s (Camila Mendes) father, Hiram Lodge, would make an appearance in the new season. Mark Consuelos has been cast to play the role.

The showrunner said, “we’re going to honor that proud tradition of Hiram hating Archie and also subvert it. And Mark is much more charming than the Hiram in the comics. For a while, we’re not going to know what his intentions are — if he’s truly reformed or not. Very quickly, we’re going to know he has a strong opinion about Archie, though.”
