Katy Perry Reveals ‘Truth’ About Taylor Swift Feud— Done With The ‘B.S.’

Katy Perry finally addressed her infamous feud with Taylor Swift. The singer explained why she decided to finally discuss the story back in May.

Three sides to every story

Katy Perry sat down with NME for their issue out on Friday to discuss why she finally decided to reveal the “truth” about her feud with Taylor Swift last month on The Late Late Show.

The “Swish Swish” singer told the magazine that “James Corden makes me and the whole world feel very safe.”

“No one asked me about my side of the story and there are three sides to every story: one, two, and the truth.”

Taylor Swift has never mentioned Katy Perry’s name in any interviews, but back in 2014, the “Style” singer told Rolling Stone that a former friend had stolen some of her backup dancers.

Perry did confirm on The Late Late Show that three of her dancers had left Taylor’s tour to join her on her Prism World Tour.

“I tried to talk to her about it and she wouldn’t speak to me.”

Did Katy ‘sabotage’ Taylor?

Taylor Swift previously told NME that another female artist “basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour” by taking her dancers saying that “she tried to hire a bunch of people out from me.”

Katy Perry added in her interview with the magazine that she is ready for this “B.S. to be done.” She explained that Swift’s actions were going to garner a reaction out of her and her fans saying, “it’s all about karma, right?”

“She started it and it’s time for her to finish it.”

The “Bon Appetit” singer said that she has reached a breaking point with Swift. She said that her former friend deliberately attempted to assassinate her character.

Taylor Swift also hired Perry’s longtime collaborator Max Martin to co-write her diss track, “Bad Blood,” but Katy said she doesn’t hold a grudge against the music producer for working with her former friend.

The “Fireworks” singer said that she is not the type of person to tell someone what they can and cannot do, calling herself a very fair person mentioning, I’m not one of those people who’s like, “You can’t do that because I don’t like that person.”

“You do you. Make your own choices…I’m not his mother.”
