Florida Georgia Line Singer Tyler Hubbard And Wife Hayley Announce Pregnancy, First Baby Due This Winter
Tyler Hubbard of the country duo, Florida Georgia Line, has some exciting news to share. He and his wife, Hayley, are expecting their first child in December. The announcement came on Wednesday via his Instagram, showing just how excited they are in a couple of cute photos. The snapshot had the couple holding up a pregnancy test, and they are thrilled with the results. It’s time to buy a pair of baby cowboy or cowgirl boots.
In addition to the Instagram announcement, the expectant parents shared some details with People, along with a sweet exclusive photo of them with their golden retriever named Harley. Their pooch had a sign around his neck announcing that mom and dad are having a baby. Hayley explained that after having a sleepless night when they got back home from being in California, it just dawned on her that she might very well be pregnant.
Sure enough, the next morning revealed a positive pregnancy test. Now that Hayley is about three months along, the Florida Georgia Line singer took to social media to express their joy and to share the news with the rest of the world.
“We’ve had such a hard time not telling everybody for the last few months because we are SO excited…. WE ARE PREGNANT. Holy cow we’re going to be parents. God is so good and we can’t wait for this next chapter of our life.”

Tyler revealed that they are both excited and a little bit nervous about starting a family. This pregnancy wasn’t a total surprise as they had decided just to wait to see what happens. They said that they figured it was all in God’s timing. The father-to-be admitted that because they have such a fast-paced life, it could be quite a juggling act when the new baby arrives, but it will also be fun and exciting to work it all out. He has no doubt that they will do just fine.
Hayley is currently trying to get through major morning sickness. She has not been feeling too well during her first trimester, but she is still keeping a positive attitude, even traveling to Malawi as part of the UCSF School of Nursing. Their goal is to improve maternal and child health in this extremely poor African country. The 30-year-old said that just being there and seeing babies being born in such bad conditions helped to keep things in perspective.
With the Florida Georgia Line: Smooth Tour just getting started, the timing seems to be perfect, according to Hubbard. The country singer explained how it would all working out when their bundle of joy arrives this winter.
“The due date is the end of December — we’re going to be off the road [and] be able to be home for the first few months. It’s just crazy how it all worked out so perfectly.”
The baby news was announced on the same day that the 2017 CMT Music Awards take place. The couple will be attending this annual event knowing that this time next year they will be parents to a little boy or girl. There may even be a tiny baby bump showing as Hayley walks the red carpet. It is definitely an exciting time for the Hubbards as their lives are about to get a little more interesting, and definitely a lot fuller as well.
According to The Boot, Florida Georgia Line will be performing on stage with The Chainsmokers at the CMT Awards as part of a handful of musical collaborations this year. They are also nominated for Video of the Year for their song, “H.O.L.Y,” as well as Duo Video of the Year.
