‘Reality Steve’ Admits ‘Bachelorette’ Spoilers Are Wrong: Rachel’s Final Pick Switch-Up Revealed

Reality Steve revealed on Monday that his Bachelorette final rose spoilers are wrong, just weeks after he claimed that he was certain who Rachel Lindsay got engaged to when the final rose ceremony was filmed in Madrid last month. However, even after he released his revised spoilers, there is still some doubt as to the outcome of the show.

In a previous report by the Inquisitr, the validity of Steve’s Season 13 spoilers was questioned due to the lack of information he had about Rachel Lindsay’s final two picks. Although Steve stated that he was confident regarding who Rachel got engaged to, he failed to reveal the name of the man who was the runner-up. As of this writing, he’s not quite so sure about that either.

Where does this leave Bachelorette fans who want to know who the final rose winner is? The season finale doesn’t air until August 7, so we have a ways to go before all of this information can be confirmed. However, here is what we know so far about this surprising final rose winner switch-up, something that Reality Steve now says is true but with a slight bit of hesitation in his confirmation.

Warning: Updated The Bachelorette Season 14 spoilers ahead

Last month, Reality Steve didn’t reveal his usual episode-by-episode spoilers, something he usually does right around the time of the Bachelorette premiere. However, he did note that Rachel got engaged to Wisconsin-based fitness instructor, Peter Krauss. In fact, he said he any doubts about his final rose spoiler is “garbage.”

“Rachel is engaged to Peter Kraus. I say every season, this isn’t a prediction, this isn’t a guess… she’s engaged to Peter. Happened last Thursday. There will be stories, tabloid reports, chitter chatter, ABC promos making you think something else…. all garbage…. congrats to those two…”

Days later, on the night of the Bachelorette Season 13 premiere, late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel made his predictions about Rachel’s final pick. He also predicted that Peter Kraus would get Rachel’s final rose, perhaps getting his information from Steve’s spoilers.

On Monday, Steve changed his tune. Three weeks after the premiere, he finally provided the promised episode-by-episode spoilers. But the spoilers came with an admission that he was wrong about Rachel’s final pick.

Rachel has already revealed that she’s engaged, telling Us Weekly that she’s very happy with her pick. So, the engagement part is a given – it’s just who she picked that we’re not sure about.

Steve now claims that Rachel Lindsay is engaged to Miami chiropractor Bryan Abasolo. He received the first impression rose but, according to spoilers, will not get a one-on-one date until Episode 5. That might make people doubt the outcome of the show even more than they are now. However, many season finale winners, including Shawn Booth, didn’t get a date until later on in the show.

“Yet again, it’s happened this season after I posted the spoiler,” Steve writes. “The spoiler I posted on May 17th was wrong. Rachel is engaged to Bryan Abasolo. Nothing I say will convince people who want to believe she’s with Peter that she’s not and she’s with Bryan. All I can say is in two months, you’ll see that Bryan is the correct ending.”

He now states that Peter Kraus is the runner-up and contestant Eric Bigger was sent home after the overnight dates. If that is true, is it possible we’ll see host Chris Harrison name Peter as the next star of The Bachelor?

Although Steve now seems to be confident about Rachel’s final pick, there will be lingering doubt until the final rose ceremony airs on August 7.

Watch The Bachelorette on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
