’90 Day Fiance’ New Season: What We Know So Far, And What We Can Expect From The Couples

TLC has been known to bring reality shows that are nothing but dramatic, so naturally, they almost immediately created a 90 Day Fiance new season. The show, which focuses on couples who get engaged after three months, and who often have to go through a series of problems because of the distance between them, has been known to feature some of the most outrageous people in history.

So the new season, of course, promises to be just as insane. Let’s take a look at a few of the many things we know about the 90 Day Fiance new season so far, and what we can expect from the couples.

First, according to The Futon Critic, the 90 Day Fiance new season actually has two different parts. The first part, of course, is the show that’s featured on TV, which is called 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? The second part of the show is called 90 Day Fiance: What Now?, and will be featured only online and on the TLC Now app.

“Life after 90 Days continues for Danielle & Mohamed, Loren & Alexei, Russ & Paola, Jorge & Anfisa and Chantel & Pedro as they each have a quick dose of reality and drama unfolds when married life in America doesn’t quite live up to their expectations. In addition to the usual ups and downs of being newly married, the couples are forced to deal with major cultural differences, stress from financial difficulties and disapproving family members.”

US Weekly clears up the confusion that’s implied with the 90 Day Fiance new season “double play.” On television, fans can expect to see Danielle and Mohamed, Loren and Alexi, Russ and Paola, Chantel and Pedro, and of course Jorge and Anfisa (who’s been in the news as of late because of her alleged new career as a prostitute).

But the couples featured on the app will be very different.

“In addition to Happily Ever After, the new digital series, What Now, will stream on TLC.com and the TLC Go app. The series will focus on what life has been like for several fan-favorite 90 Day Fiancé couples after they walked down the aisle. The couples returning for What Now include Narkyia and Lowo; Melanie and Devar; Josh and Aleksandra; Alan and Kirlyam; and Matt and Alla.”

However, Peyton Lawrence of Empty Lighthouse Magazine has a different take on what all we can expect from the 90 Day Fiance new season. The first thing we’ll see, according to him, is Danielle and Mohamed fighting out their divorce battle in the courts, even long after the dust should have settled on their divorce. (We suppose there’s no expiration date on animosity.)

For what it’s worth, Mohamed doesn’t want to stay in the States, but instead wants to defect to Qatar or Canada.

Meanwhile, Chantel and Pedro are still at loggerheads because of the fact that Chantel is a drama queen, and even though she laid low before this, she seems to be back up to her old tricks.

And as for Jorge and Anfisa, well, they’re still disasters.

“It seems hard to believe that Anfisa and Jorge are still together. And yet, it seems that they are. Of course, social media about Anfisa’s checkered past is also starting to spread, which gives us a sense of what really defines Anfisa and Jorge’s relationship. Anfisa has certainly staid busy taking many, many, many pictures of her body on her Instagram. Interestingly, it also looks like she’s been traveling a bit. We’re predicting that Anfisa’s modeling career is going to come up again. We might also find out some more juicy tidbits about Jorge’s marijuana business.”
