You remember the “creepy little girl” hidden camera elevator prank video? Meet its sequel, the “corpse and coffin” elevator prank clip, which has gone viral on YouTube with over 5,000,000 views.
The Brazilian hidden-camera prank show Programa Silvio Santos strikes again in a familiar locale with a brand new awkward and creepy elevator prank. Previously, we reported on the viral prank that had unsuspecting elevator users confronted with a power outage, during which a creepy little The Ring-style girl snuck into the elevator. The lights came back on, and the little girl screamed, scaring the bee-gees out of elevator riders and guaranteeing hilarity for all.
In the sequel prank, funeral home workers push a coffin onto the elevator with an unsuspecting user and then leave to retrieve a flower wreath. By the time they come back, the elevator doors have closed, and the prank victim is stuck in the elevator with a coffin.
The coffin breaks open, and the corpse falls out, frightening the elevator user. The prank goes a step further when the corpse unexpectedly comes back to life. Each prank victim takes the scare differently, from fleeing the elevator in tears to batting their arms helplessly as the funeral home workers try to restrain them.
It’s not quite as funny as the original video, and honestly, I can’t believe some of these prank victims didn’t catch on to the improbability of the situation, but then again, I can’t say I would have.
Without further ado, here’s the hilarious corpse and coffin elevator prank video. What do you think?
