‘GTA Online’ Gunrunning Update Includes The Mobile Ops Center, A Moving Base That Can Be Customized

Another huge investment is coming to GTA Online when the Gunrunning update goes live. The online option for Grand Theft Auto V will soon include a bunker, the Mobile Operations Center, and a number of Weaponized Vehicles. Players that establish themselves as CEOs, VIPs, and MC Presidents can buy a bunker to get started on running guns for major profit.

Once a player owns a bunker, a Mobile Operations Center can also be purchased. This is a massive command center that can be driven around the map by a semi. Players can choose what features their center contains in the same way MC Presidents can spend more money on their clubhouses. A Mobile Operations Center in GTA Online can include amenities like living spaces, vehicle shops, and weapon shops, according to the official website. Additionally, this movable base of operations also includes a way to Research new upgrades.

Players that own a Mobile Command Center can use the Research function to find new weapon upgrades, outfit the semi itself, and improve any escort vehicles that accompany the base. Weaponized Vehicles can lead and follow a Mobile Operations Center to protect and aid it during any outing. These include vehicles like APCs, military-grade transports, and even off-road buggies.

The Gunrunning update of GTA Online focuses on moving weapons similar to the way the Import/Export update has players moving stolen cars. Players will buy and sell weapons across the state of San Andreas. Owning a bunker and moving these weapons will open up new opportunities for CEOs, VIPs, and MC Presidents. Mainly, buying the underground bunker leads to buying a Mobile Operations Center, the portable hub that can be escorted by other vehicles.

“Weaponized Vehicles are a brand new class to stock and customize. Build a fleet to cover every eventuality: from the ultimate utility of the fully amphibious, canon-toting APC, to a mobile anti-aircraft trailer that’ll have pilots soiling their cockpits across the state. Weaponized Vehicles can also be employed as company assets instrumental in delivering cargo to any drop-off.”

Owners of a Mobile Operations Center will be able to choose to use their Research to unlock new improvements. Some upgrades can be applied to vehicles like the Weaponized Vehicles giving players benefits like powerful anti-air options. Even new upgrades and unlocks for guns can be selected through Research in the GTA Online Gunrunning update.

“Beyond manufacturing your stock to sell, reap the benefits of your Bunker’s white coat staff by allocating their time to Research and they’ll get busy unlocking a range of optional upgrades including unique personal weapon modifications, a whole range of brutal tech for your Weaponized Vehicles, and terrifying upgrades for your Mobile Operations Center.”

There is no firm release date for the Gunrunning update right now, but a number of bonuses are currently ongoing. GTA Online players can enjoy double cash and RP from Special Vehicle Missions right now. Additionally, biker businesses and special cargo deliveries are worth 25 percent more for a limited time.

Executive offices and a number of Warstock Cache and Carry vehicles are 25 percent off, too. Even yachts and yacht modifications are discounted right now. All sales and bonuses are good through June 12 in GTA Online. When these sales and bonuses are over, players should expect new discounts and benefits.

GTA Online continues to update with free updates like Gunrunning, Tiny Racers, and Import/Export. Many quality-of-life updates are also patched in with free updates. As the Inquisitr reported, heist vehicles are no longer locked behind heist completion. Any player can purchase a heist vehicle now without having to finish a heist. Those that do complete the associated heist in GTA Online can pick up these vehicles cheaper than those that do not.
