Brandy Released From Hospital After Falling Unconscious On Delta Flight

Brandy Norwood had a major medical scare while heading to New York on Friday. The 38-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer fell unconscious on a Delta flight that was about to take off –prompting paramedics to rush in and administer help.

Publicist Courtney Barnes said in a statement that the artist’s rigorous schedule, which included concerts and personal appearances, took a toll on her while traveling to New York City from Los Angeles.

Brandy’s brother Ray J has also spoken out on the status of the singer’s health. “Yeah, she’s good. She just needs some rest.” Ray J told TMZ that Brandy has been traveling extensively for work.

Ray J also shared that his sister is now at home and on the road to recovery as she gets much-needed rest and spends time with her 14-year-old daughter, Sy’rai Iman Smith. Norwood is also spending time with rumored boyfriend, recording artist Sir the Baptist, 28, whose real name is William James Stokes. He is the son of a prominent Baptist preacher and is one of 22 children.

Is Brandy And Sir The Baptist Expecting A Baby?

Brandy Norwood left many fans wondering if she was expecting a child with Sir the Baptist. Or, was the singer having fun on social media?

Several hours after the “I Wanna Be Down” singer bashed her ex-fiancé, Ryan Press, Brandy took to social media where she unveiled a picture to which it seems Norwood revealed a baby bump. The former Zoe Ever After actress is wearing a blue shirt, dotted skirt, and large red belt.

In the photo, Brandy wrote, “Dear God, I can finally see you in me. Continue to use me so I can continue to know the joy of being used by you. I promise to cut back on my clapbacks.#wink I love you.”

Since Norwood broke onto the music scene in the early 1990’s, fans are aware that the singer has always had a tiny frame. Many on social media quickly saw a physical difference in Brandy’s photos and noticed that the singer was sporting what seems to be a burgeoning belly.

To add more fuel to the pregnancy rumors, after seeing the post, Brandy’s former “Moesha” co-star and friend, Vaughn, took to Instagram to congratulate her on her second child. The actress wrote, “Congrats on the baby I’m soooooo happy for you and I love you.”

Fans all over the world went to congratulate Brandy when news hit of her expecting a baby. One person on Instagram wrote, “Congrats on the pregnancy I love brandy!!” Another commenter added, “Hey hey now! You’ve developed so much as person, vocal range, stage presence … keep goin honey Chile! your baby will be blessed.”

Brandy’s 14-year-old daughter, Sy’rai Iman Smith cleared up the pregnancy speculation. Sy’rai Iman was born in 2002 and Brandy documented her pregnancy and birth on a four-part reality series called Brandy: Special Delivery. She and Smith separated a year later.

“She just ate chocolate cake and pancakes every day. I was there. My mother is not pregnant. I’m not gonna have any more siblings. I like being an only child. Thank you, lord.”

Brandy playfully scolded her daughter by saying: “Get off social media at school lil lady.”

However, many still believe that Brandy and Sir the Baptist are expecting, especially after Brandy’s latest medical scare.

Brandy has not confirmed a relationship with the hip-hop artist, but the Chicago-based musician has been posting quite a few pictures himself praising Norwood.

In one post, he called Brandy a genius and that they both have healed many through music.

“Don’t need to write that she’s a Genius. That’s obvious. Would say she’s an angel but you don’t reach her heights… keep moral goodness and be loved by the greats without wings.”

Baptist added, “However…. she’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever met. Before this picture, we had already healed many thru song. Now onto chasing each other around the world. @4everbrandy.”

Brandy’s hits include “The Boy Is Mine,” ”Sittin’ Up In My Room,” and “Have You Ever.” The actress has also acted in various movies and TV shows, including Moesha and The Game.
