Watch Australia Vs. Bangladesh Cricket Live Stream: Start Time, Preview Of Champions Trophy Match Five

The Bangladesh Tigers face Australia in what has become a must-win cricket match for both sides in 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, a match that will live stream from Kia Oval in London, England, on Monday with both sides looking for their first win in the fast-paced competition — and Bangladesh needing to recreate one of the most legendary wins in their history against the current Cricket World Cup holders.

It was almost exactly 12 years ago, on June 18, 2005, that Bangladesh faced Australia — who then, as now, were coming off a victorious World Cup — having won only two ODI matches out of 77 against top-eight ranked opponents, and never having defeated Australia.

But Bangladesh was able to chase down 249 on that day to record what remains their only ODI win against Australia in 19 matchups — and current Tigers skipper Mashrafe Mortaza was on the field that day.

“I can remember I got (Adam) Gilchrist out,” Mortaza said on Sunday, a day ahead of their 20th clash against Australia. “In the night time, we got a limousine to drive! It was a great memory for us. The team has changed. This team is playing good cricket now. Obviously tomorrow is a new day. It has been a good memory for us but the best teams are going to play tomorrow, and we are confident enough to play against them. We will try our level best.”

Australia, on the other hand, split points with New Zealand thanks to a downpour that cut short their chase of an imposing 291. The result left Australia just as desperate for a win as Bangladesh in Monday’s match.

Here are the projected teams for Monday’s Australia vs. Bangladesh 2017 ICC Champions Trophy Match Five.

Australia: 1 David Warner, 2 Aaron Finch, 3 Steven Smith (captain), 4 Moises Henriques, 5 Glenn Maxwell, 6 Travis Head, 7 Matthew Wade (wicketkeeper), 8 Mitchell Starc, 9 & 10 John Hastings/Adam Zampa/Pat Cummins, 11 Josh Hazlewood.

Bangladesh: 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Soumya Sarkar, 3 Sabbir Rahman, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (wicketkeeper), 5 Mahmudullah, 6 Shakib Al Hasan, 7 Mosaddek Hossain, 8 Mehedi Hasan, 9 Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), 10 Rubel Hossain, 11 Mustafizur Rahman.

Can Bangladesh relive their historic 2005 upset of the defending world cricket champions, and get crucial points on the board as they try to keep their chances of advancement in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy alive? Or will World Cup holders Australia recover from a poor bowling performance in the washed-out match against New Zealand in what has shaped up as a must-win game for both sides?
