Next ‘Bachelor’ Star Already Picked? Which One Of Rachel’s Guys Will Hand Out Roses In 2018?

The next season of The Bachelor doesn’t begin until January 2018, but the big reveal may come earlier than expected. Although ABC won’t confirm or deny any rumors circulating about who is the new Bachelor star is, a new report reveals which one of Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay’s guys will ABC’s next leading man.

Fans can expect host Chris Harrison to use his usual line, “no decision has been made yet” when asked who will be handing out roses on Season 22. However, judging from the early announcements made for both Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette and Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor, the network could make their announcement long before Rachel’s season ends on August 7.

So, who’s in line to become the Season 22 The Bachelor star? Here’s what we know so far about the guy who will star in the next season of ABC’s popular reality TV dating series.

Warning: There are Bachelorette Season 13 spoilers ahead.

Days before Rachel Lindsay’s season Reality Steve revealed information about Rachel Lindsay’s hometown dates and the names of her final four guys — Eric Bigger, Bryan Abasolo, Peter Kraus, and Dean Unglert. He also revealed that she got engaged during the final rose ceremony.

Rachel confirmed that Steve’s spoilers were correct, telling USA Today that she is happily engaged to her final pick. Although she states that she made the announcement because it’s “a season of firsts,” she didn’t reveal who the lucky guy is to keep some secrets this season.

According to a recent report by the Inquisitr, Steve revised his spoilers and now points to Miami chiropractor Bryan Abasolo as the guy who got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him. If the spoilers are true, that knocks Bryan out of the running to become the next Bachelor star.

According to Steve’s spoilers, Bryan is one of four guys who met Rachel’s family after the hometown dates episode was taped in April. He reveals that the other three men are Los Angeles-based startup recruiter, Dean Unglert; Wisconsin native and personal trainer Peter Kraus; and Eric Bigger, a motivational speaker who grew up in Baltimore, Maryland.

With the exception of Nick’s season, producers usually pick on of the Bachelorette‘s final four guys to become the next Bachelor. Will that be the case for the guy who gets the Season 22 gig?

According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, contestant Dean Unglert, 26, is heading to Bachelor in Paradise this summer. Most fans will think that counts him out, but Nick Viall was on Paradise before he was named Season 21 Bachelor star.

However, Reality Steve thinks Dean is simply too young for the role for producers to pick him over Eric Bigger and Bryan Abasolo.

“I wouldn’t say he’s [Dean] out 100%, but for the sake of ranking the final 4 guys and their Bachelor prospects, I think he probably has the smallest chance. I think he’s just too young and I don’t think he comes across as someone who’s looking to settle down right now.”

But, keep in mind, Ben Higgins was the same age when he got the gig. Although he broke off his engagement to Lauren Bushnell, he was an extremely popular Bachelor star.

Now that he has changed his final rose spoilers from Peter to Bryan, Reality Steve thinks Peter could have a good chance to get picked as the 2018 Bachelor.

After all, he seems to be a fan favorite this season, with many fans still hoping the spoilers are wrong and he will be the one to propose to Rachel on the finale.

Is it possible that the next Bachelor won’t be one of Rachel’s guys?

Considering there really isn’t anyone from previous seasons who fits the bill, it’s likely that we’ll see one of Rachel’s final three guys as the next Bachelor star. But let’s not discount the fact that Nick was picked after his stint on Bachelor in Paradise, so anything is possible.
