Joy-Anna Duggar And Austin Forsyth Share Honeymoon Update, Amy Duggar Reveals If She Was At The Wedding

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth are currently on their honeymoon, but the Counting On stars aren’t getting a break from being in front of the camera.

Joy-Anna, 19, and Austin, 23, recently filmed a short post-wedding video as a thank you to the fans who have been flooding their new joint Instagram account with prayers and well wishes. The couple also shared a short message about their honeymoon on the Duggar family’s website. They kept the the location of their romantic vacation a secret, but they did say that they’re getting to see a lot of gorgeous scenery.

“Thank you to all for your prayers and encouragement!” Joy-Anna and Austin wrote. “We are loving married life and having the opportunity to see these beautiful places together! We will cherish these memories for the rest of our lives!”

The couple also shared a few snapshots from their honeymoon, and it looks like they decided not to leave the United States. In one image, Austin Forsyth is standing on a snowy peak with mountains in the background. He and Joy-Anna Duggar filmed their “Thank You” video in front of a rushing river surrounded by pine trees. A busy road is visible on the other side of the river.

“Hey, y’all! Thank you so much for all of y’all’s encouragement and your notes,” a beaming Joy-Anna says before pausing to gaze adoringly at Austin. “We really appreciate everything. We are just loving the married life. It’s been such a blast so far.”

“We appreciate all the prayers and support that we’ve had from our family and friends,” Austin adds.

Perhaps the couple decided to embark on a cross-country camping trip for their honeymoon. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s wedding registry included a lot of camping gear, and Austin has said that he loves the great outdoors. He and Joy-Anna have also revealed that they’ll be doing a lot of traveling during their honeymoon.

Did Josh And Amy Attend Joy-Anna’s Wedding?

As People reports, Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth tied the knot on May 26 in front of over 1,000 wedding guests, and fans have been curious about whether two members of the Duggar family were on the couple’s long guest list: Joy-Anna’s older brother, Josh, and her cousin, Amy. As the Huffington Post reports, Joy-Anna outed herself as one of Josh’s sexual molestation victims last month. She and the three other Duggar daughters who were abused by their older brother — Jill, Jessa, and Jinger — filed a breach-of-privacy lawsuit pertaining to the release and publication of the redacted police reports that described Josh’s actions.

Duggar fans know that Josh attended the weddings of his first three victims, but TLC took great pains to make sure that he didn’t appear on Jinger Duggar’s Counting On wedding special. As the Daily Mail reports, the show’s post-production crew used a fake sun flare to hide Josh from view.

It looks like TLC might have to use another creative editing trick for Joy-Anna’s wedding special, because Josh Duggar is visible in the background of a photo taken at his younger sister’s wedding. The image was posted on the Dedicated to the Duggars Tumblr.

Josh isn’t the only member of the Duggar family who has been MIA on Counting On who was in attendance at Joy-Anna’s wedding. On May 27, Amy Duggar revealed that she and her husband, Dillon King, were invited to the event.

Amy hasn’t been photographed with her famous cousins lately, so many fans have been speculating that the Counting On stars had a falling out with Amy over her decision to appear on the VH1 reality show Marriage Boot Camp. Rumors of a rift also swirled when Amy skipped Jinger Duggar’s wedding, but Amy told Entertainment Tonight that bad blood had nothing to do with her absence; she and Dillon simply couldn’t make it because they already had a trip to Las Vegas scheduled that weekend.

Counting On fans can play “Where’s Josh and Amy?” when Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s wedding special airs June 12 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
