‘Teen Mom OG’ Amber Portwood And Matt Baier Are Still Together, Despite Cryptic Post On Twitter
Amber Portwood and Matt Baier are very much together, a new report claims.
Although the Teen Mom OG star hinted at a possible split on Twitter just days ago, an insider recently spoke out about Portwood and Baier’s on-and-off relationship, claiming that despite Portwood’s tweet about moving on and not letting anyone hold her back, she has not broken up with her controversial fiance.
“[Amber Portwood and Matt Baier] are still together and still living together,” a source explained to Us Weekly on June 2. “They’re trying to work things out.”
At the moment, Amber Portwood is in New York City by herself to film the upcoming Teen Mom OG reunion special. However, Matt Baier’s absence isn’t the result of a split. Instead, the magazine’s insider explained, a health issue prevented him from traveling to the Big Apple to reunite with their co-stars, including Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, and Maci Bookout.
“He didn’t come with her because he’s tending to medical issues,” a source told Us Weekly.
The magazine revealed that while Amber Portwood and Matt Baier are in a relationship at the moment, they reportedly decided to put the brakes on their engagement a short time ago and allegedly called off their plans to get married this October.
“The fall wedding isn’t happening,” a source explained of the on-again, off-again couple.
Although Amber Portwood’s relationship with Matt Baier was believed to be over at the time, Baier spoke up less than one week later and told Us Weekly magazine that there was “no question” that he was still going to marry Portwood this fall. He even told the outlet that he and Portwood were in a “very good place.”
According to Matt Baier, he and Amber Portwood have decided to keep the details of their upcoming wedding to themselves.
Amber Portwood began dating Matt Baier years ago and shortly after he made his debut on Teen Mom OG, he was faced with allegations of secret children with numerous women. On the show, Baier admitted to fathering at least two children, but according to a report by Radar Online, Baier has actually fathered a whopping nine kids. As fans may recall, Amber Portwood’s former boyfriend, Gary Shirley, brought this to her attention during filming on an earlier season of the show.
Throughout the past several weeks, Amber Portwood and Matt Baier have been keeping fans guessing in regard to their relationship status and as they do, numerous rumors have hit the web in regard to Baier’s alleged cheating.
While Amber Portwood has stayed fairly silent in regard to what’s really going on between her and Matt Baier, she did post a telling message to her fans and followers on Twitter at the end of last month.
The message read, “Ready to move forward and be the woman I’ve always strived to be with no one holding me back!! New beginning starts now.”
A short time later, however, Matt Baier surfaced on Instagram and shared a photo of the two of them kissing while enjoying a vacation in Puerto Rico. In the caption, he told Amber Portwood, “I got you bae,” and named the longtime reality star and mother of eight-year-old Leah as his choice for Woman Crush Wednesday.
