Rachel Lindsay Brings Her Squad On ‘Bachelorette’ Group Date: Raven And Corinne See Major Red Flags

Rachel Lindsay is getting a little help from her friends on The Bachelorette. Lindsay, who is in the process of weeding through 31 potential husbands on the rose-themed ABC reality show, already had three of her Bachelor besties return to the mansion to give her advice on the show’s season premiere, but now she is bringing four of her closest franchise friends on a Los Angeles-based group date to get some feedback on her remaining guys just one week after contestant DeMario Jackson was found to have a girlfriend back home.

“My girls know me better than my guys do at this point, so I’m hoping that they can figure out who’s here for me,” Lindsay says in the clip. “I’ve already encountered one wolf in sheep’s clothing, and who knows — maybe my girls will find another one today.”

Rachel introduced her remaining suitors to her franchise fairy godmothers Raven Gates, Corinne Olympios, Jasmine Goode, and Alexis Waters and the four beauties joined them on the date. It didn’t take long for Raven, who was the runner-up on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelorette, to zero in on a guy who is definitely not there for the right reasons.

In a preview clip posted online ahead of the third episode of Rachel Lindsay’s Bachelorette season, Raven says two of Rachel’s suitors told her that Eric is not on the show to look for love with the gorgeous Dallas attorney.

Raven quizzed Bryce Powers and Lee Garrett while on a bus en route to the group date destination and both guys singled out Eric Bigger as the guy who’s “the least appropriate person” for Rachel.

“I am concerned for Rachel because Rachel told us that she was most excited about Eric,” Raven says to the camera later. “I asked the two guys that I was sitting by, Bryce and Lee, who they thought wasn’t a good match for Rachel, and they both said Eric. That’s a red flag.”

While the clip shows Rachel, her BFFs, and the guys on a bus, according to Bachelorette spoiler king Reality Steve, the actual date took place at the Cowboy Palace Saloon in L.A. Rachel’s posse was on hand to help “judge” a mud wrestling contest, which sounds like an excuse to judge which guy is the hottest, but it looks like they judged the contestants in another way, too.

While Rachel Lindsay’s pals uncovered some dirt on Eric, Life & Style painted a pretty glowing picture of him. Not only did Eric sweep Rachel (and America) of off her feet during his limo meet-and-greet by dancing with her, but his social media feeds are filled with positive motivational quotes as well. He is also family-oriented and isn’t afraid to express his feelings. Sounds like perfect husband material for Rachel Lindsay, which is probably why Bryce and Lee are casting doubt on his character and throwing him under the bus.

Interestingly, both Bryce and Lee have made headlines for their own inappropriate behavior in recent weeks. Bryce was slammed for his answer to a boiler plate question on ABC’s website when asked about his biggest dating fear. Powers revealed that his biggest dating fear is that “the chick is actually a dude.” In a statement posted to The Wrap, Rachel Lindsay, ABC, and Horizon Warner distanced themselves from Powers, who was slammed by the LGBT community for the comment.

“This comment does not reflect the views of ABC, Warner Horizon or bachelorette Rachel Lindsay,” an ABC spokesperson told The Wrap. “We have removed it from ABC.com.”

In addition, Lee Garrett is embroiled in a social media scandal that has many people wondering why he would sign on to a show that features an African-American lead. Some of Lee Garrett’s alleged tweets, which were leaked from his private Twitter feed, include one that compares Black Lives Matter to a “terrorist group.” Another disturbing tweet reads, “What’s the difference between the NAACP and the KKK? Wait for it…One has the sense of shame to cover their racist a** faces.”

Rachel Lindsay definitely needs some help weeding through her guys because it looks like more than one of them may be “a wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

You can see Rachel Lindsay on The Bachelorette Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
