Jax Taylor Shuts Down ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 6 Cast Shakeup Rumor

Jax Taylor took to Twitter this week to shut down a rumor regarding the Vanderpump Rules Season 6 cast.

Although Bravo TV has confirmed that the series will return later this year for a sixth season, the network has not yet confirmed who will be appearing on the show, and recently, an odd rumor regarding the addition of former Bachelorette contestant Chase joining the show surfaced.

A short time later, Jax Taylor confirmed that the strange Vanderpump Rules report was 100 percent false.

In a tweet to his many fans and followers on June 1, Jax Taylor wrote, “Nope… stop reading tabloids it’s never true.”

Jax Taylor, Scheana Marie, Brittany Cartwright, Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney, and Lisa Vanderpump are all expected to be seen during Vanderpump Rules‘ upcoming sixth season, but nothing has been confirmed quite yet.

That said, a couple of members of the cast, including Scheana Marie and Lala Kent, have spoken out about the start of filming in recent weeks. As fans may recall, Scheana Marie was first to address the sixth season of filming and did so early this year while on the red carpet at the iHeart Music Awards in Los Angeles.

At the time of the iHeart Music Awards, Scheana Marie had just gone public with her new boyfriend, Robert Valletta, and she spoke of his potential addition to the Vanderpump Rules cast.

“He’s just an amazing person. Hopefully we get picked up and he films next season and you’ll get to see that,” she gushed during an interview with Us Weekly in March. “Ultimately, it’ll be his decision… If we’re still together come May and if he wants to, he’s welcome to; if he doesn’t, I’m OK with that. It will not be to the level of the other guys on the show. He’s a very busy man. He has more than one job and won’t have time for all of our drama.”

A short time later, Lala Kent, who was added to the show during its fourth season, suggested during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she didn’t yet have any plans to return to Vanderpump Rules for its sixth season after quitting the show in December 2016, midway through Season 5.

“They started [filming] today,” Lala Kent told the outlet during an appearance at OK! Magazine‘s Summer Kickoff party in May. “And I’m here, so that tells you what you need to know, I guess… I flip flop back and forth. I’m definitely not going to be off of TV, so whether it’s Vanderpump Rules or something else for me, I’m a hustler.”

As Lala Kent explained, she has made amends with a number of her co-stars after feuding with nearly everyone during Vanderpump Rules Season 5. According to the former SUR Restaurant hostess, who is believed to be working at the restaurant currently, she has an extremely close-knit relationship with Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix.

In addition to the upcoming sixth season of Vanderpump Rules, fans also have another series to look forward to with Jax Taylor’s spinoff with Brittany Cartwright, Jax And Brittany Take Kentucky. Earlier this year, Bravo TV released a sneak peek trailer for the new season but didn’t reveal when the show would begin airing on the network.

As for the premiere of Vanderpump Rules Season 6, the show will likely return to Bravo sometime this November. While a date has not yet been confirmed, the series has premiered in late fall for the past few years.
