‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Jenelle Evans Teases Upcoming Tell-All Book, Says Fans Will See Another Side Of Her

Jenelle Evans can’t wait for the upcoming release of her tell-all book, and on Instagram, she’s doing her best to make sure her fans are just as excited.

In a post to her fans and followers on Instagram on June 1, the Teen Mom 2 star announced that her book, Read Between the Lines: From the Diary of a Teenage Mom, is now available for preorder on Amazon.

“My book is available for preorder! I’m getting excited yet nervous for you all to read my old diary entries and see another side you haven’t known!” Jenelle Evans wrote in the caption of the photo.

Jenelle Evans’ book is set to be released on July 25, 2017, and according to Amazon, the tell-all will include emotional stories from the reality star’s childhood, which have helped shape her into the woman she is now.

As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, Jenelle Evans struggled immensely after welcoming her first child, son Jace, who is now 7-years-old, and ultimately signed custody of the child over to her mother, Barbara Evans. In addition to her financial struggles, Jenelle Evans faced legal drama and drug addiction before seeking treatment in rehab on two separate occasions in 2012 and 2013.

Since then, Jenelle Evans has welcomed two more children, 2-year-old Kaiser and 4-month-old Ensley, with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith and current fiancé David Eason, respectively.

On Amazon, a description of the book reads, “What of [Jenelle Evans]’s complicated life before her newfound fame? An overbearing mother. Erratic siblings. A father who didn’t seem to care. Though there was no camera to capture those difficult moments, there were, thankfully, a few well-kept diaries. Join Jenelle as she tells her story through the eyes of her troubled youth, taken from her memories that were scrawled across the pages of her own diaries.”

With her new book, Jenelle Evans joins the likes of her fellow Teen Mom stars, including Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Lowell, Matt Baier, and Kailyn Lowry, who have all released memoirs in recent years.

Jenelle Evans also promoted her new book on Twitter in a message to fans that read, “Have you preordered your copy of my book yet?!”

Jenelle Evans is expected to dish on her strained relationship with her mother in her new book but when it comes to their recent custody battle, the outcome of their fight wasn’t given until last month and likely won’t be featured in the publication.

As fans may have heard, Jenelle Evans lost her bout for custody of her oldest son, Jace, in court at the end of last month when her mother, Barbara Evans, was awarded primary custody of the child.

Although Jenelle Evans still hasn’t regained custody of her oldest child, she was given visitation rights to Jace in court and recently reunited with her son for Memorial Day weekend.

“It felt amazing to finally be reunited,” Evans gushed to E! News. “He was so happy he didn’t even know what to do first when he got home. I was nervous a little bit because I didn’t want Jace thinking it was me that didn’t want to visit with him, but when he arrived everything was back to the way it used to be.”

Jenelle Evans and her co-stars, including Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, and Kailyn Lowry, will return to MTV later this year in Teen Mom 2 Season 8. The new installment is currently in production and is expected to include the addition of Briana DeJesus.
