Amber Portwood Arrives In NYC For ‘Teen Mom OG’ Reunion; Is She Without Matt Baier?
Amber Portwood has arrived to New York City for the filming of the Teen Mom OG Season 6B reunion special.
In a series of tweets shared this week, Amber Portwood confirmed her whereabouts and revealed she would soon be joined by her Teen Mom OG co-stars, including Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout.
“Thank you [Vandal New York] we are having an amazing time!! Sending all my love,” Amber Portwood wrote in a tweet to fans on June 1.
“Omg I can’t sleep lol NY you really know how to make a girl feel welcome,” she added hours later.
Then, when a fan asked Amber Portwood if she was with the other moms of the show, she said, “They come tomorrow! I’m excited to see my girls.”
While several other fans asked if Amber Portwood was referring to herself and her on-again, off-again fiance, Matt Baier, when she said “we” in her first tweet, the Teen Mom OG star stayed silent and ignored the fans who suggested they were hoping that he wasn’t with her.
Although Amber Portwood has not confirmed or denied the rumors, recent reports have stated that Baier will not be in attendance during the Teen Mom OG reunion taping this weekend.

Amber Portwood and her Teen Mom OG co-stars, Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout, have grown extremely close to one another in recent years and, as fans saw during this week’s new episode of the show, they recently enjoyed a couples trip to Puerto Rico with their significant others, including Matt Baier, Tyler Baltierra, and Taylor McKinney.
As for Amber Portwood’s relationship with Farrah Abraham, who also stars on the show, the two reality stars haven’t been friends for years and during the reunion special for Teen Mom OG Season 6A last year, they came to blows due to a comment comparing Baier’s look to that of a pedophile.
During the special episode, Amber Portwood stormed the stage and charged her co-star after Abraham agreed with her boyfriend, Simon Saran, who had told his fans and followers on Snapchat weeks prior that Baier looked like a pedophile. Although MTV didn’t show the entirety of their encounter, it was rumored that the women got physical with one another as Portwood’s on-again, off-again fiancé and Abraham’s father stepped in and tried to break up their fight.

Following Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham’s fight, Abraham spoke to Us Weekly magazine about their feud and revealed that her father was injured during the scuffle.
“I didn’t have to attend the rest of the reunion or specials [because of what I consider Amber Portwood’s] criminal behavior,” Abraham explained to the magazine at the end of last year. “MTV legal has said I no longer will ever have to work with or around Maci, Catelynn or [Amber Portwood].”
“MTV is covering the costs to fix my dad’s hearing aids, as well as all leg injuries and other bills and casts that were requested by my dad’s lawyer since MTV knew and put my family around criminals and the instigated fight,” she continued. “MTV is diligently keeping my dad happy so they hope my dad won’t press charges but has every right too.”
No word yet on whether or not Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham will come face-to-face during this weekend’s taping.
