See Megyn Kelly In Sexy Dress And Platform Heels Chatting With Vladimir Putin

Megyn Kelly wore a sizzling sexy dress and platform heels when she chatted with Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Thursday night. The former Fox News journalist is NBC’s newest star to join the peacock network and she’s setting out to captivate their audience. On Thursday she posted images on Twitter of her preparing for the big interview with the Russian leader, and later photos surfaced of the off-the-shoulder velvet dress she wore in her first encounter with Putin.

Daily Mail reports that Megyn Kelly had on a $990 figure-hugging number designed by Yigal Azrouel. The dress had a large slit on the side and was finished with a pair of open-toe black 5-inch heels. Megyn also donned a large gold ring to accessorize the look.

Many on Twitter are incensed that Megyn would wear such attire for an important interview — her first one since joining the network for her Sunday night news magazine, Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly, which will directly compete with CBS’ 60 Minutes. Many thought it was unprofessional that the 46-year-old wore a dress that looked more like a cocktail dress than appropriate business attire for the highly anticipated Putin interview. Daily Mail writes in its report that Putin was “transfixed” by Kelly in her sexy dress while they sat at a table chatting in Konstantin Palace in St. Petersburg. Also in attendance was India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. What people may not actually realize is this isn’t the actual interview between Megyn Kelly and Vladimir Putin, which takes place on Friday. The snapped photos are from a state dinner ahead of the interview.

On a segment of Today Thursday morning, Megyn was seen via satellite in Russia where she enthusiastically talked about her upcoming interview with Putin.

“As part of the forum, President Putin will be taking part in a panel and I’m lucky enough to be asked to moderate that.

“This is the first time he’s actually taking questions from an American journalist since the special counsel was appointed in the United States to look into allegations of Russian interference in our election.

“And that’s an allegation that he just this week referred to as a fiction invented by Democrats.”

It’s easy to mistake the photos seen of Megyn Kelly in her sexy off-the-shoulder dress with Vladimir Putin as the big interview everyone is talking about, but it was just introductions before getting to the big interview.

This isn’t the first time Kelly has been called out for wearing sexy dresses doing serious journalism. Last December she was criticized for wearing a spaghetti strap dress designed by Ralph Lauren while reporting from the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. She told the New York Times in so many words that people will just have to accept that intelligence and revealing fashion can be compatible.

“I can be smart and challenging while I wear spaghetti straps, and everyone is just going to have to get their heads around that.”

Megyn will ask Putin about all of the conspiracy theories surrounding the 2016 election and give him a platform to share various insights about the U.S. and Donald Trump. It’ll be an interview the nation, and the president, will be tuning into.
