‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Trailer: Top 4 Spoilers You Might Have Missed

While the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer only lasts one minute and 48 seconds, it has given fans a lot of spoilers to breakdown before the premiere of Season 7. So what are some of the things the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer offers in terms of spoilers?

Let’s get into it. Listed below are four spoilers you might have missed from the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer. You can watch the trailer for yourself on Game of Thrones‘ official YouTube channel, here.

Warning: The following post contains Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers.

Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer spoiler No. 1: Melisandre will be in Game of Thrones Season 7, but where is she?

Whether or not Melisandre would appear in Game of Thrones Season 7 had been a great mystery, which the Inquisitr recently reported on. Thanks to the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer, the answer is known. Melisandre (Carice van Houten) will appear in Season 7, and where she is shown in the Game of Thrones trailer is of particular interest.

In the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer, Melisandre can be seen looking over a verdant cliff that has a great view of an interesting landscape. It is an area that bears a striking resemblance to Dragonstone.

Dragonstone is the area Winter is Coming has confirmed to be Daenerys Targaryen’s headquarters in Game of Thrones Season 7. So what is Melisandre doing in Daenerys’ neck of the woods?

Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers previously reported by Winter is Coming confirm Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) will travel to see Daenerys in Game of Thrones Season 7. Has Melisandre followed them there? Or is it a rather convenient coincidence on the Red Woman’s part?

Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer spoiler No. 2: Is Arya in a bedroom at Winterfell?

In a blink-and-you-missed-it moment towards the end of the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) can be seen looking underneath a bed in an apparent search for something. Is it Needle?

While Arya looking for something would not ordinarily be a particularly interesting development, where she is looking for it, is. If you look in the background, the setting that surrounds her looks an awful lot like Winterfell.

Back in March, Winter is Coming reported that “unofficial” pictures from production on Game of Thrones Season 7 were circulating on the Game of Thrones subreddit, Free Folk. The leak on the forum was posted by Reddit user KaySen762.

Winter is Coming identified one of the pictured sets from Game of Thrones Season 7 as a “room in Winterfell.” Is this scene with Arya from the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer the one, where it will come into play?

Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer spoiler No. 3: Why is Jon Snow attacking Littlefinger?

Jon Snow (Kit Harington) attacking Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) is one of the more shocking moments from the Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer. For one, the two have barely interacted on Game of Thrones and it is unlike Littlefinger to drive someone to lose their cool. He typically cloaks his machinations with carefully chosen wordplay meant to protect him from fiery fists.

Plus, it has historically taken a lot for Jon Snow to lose his cool in the first place. So what does Littlefinger say in Game of Thrones Season 7 that makes Jon throw him up against a wall, and hold him by the throat?

Here is another question: is this the beginning of a new trend for Jon Snow? Winter is Coming has reported on a similar encounter occurring between Jon Snow and Theon Greyjoy in Game of Thrones Season 7.

Season 7 is an interesting time for Jon Snow to start grabbing characters near the throat. As it seems to lend credence to the Game of Thrones theory previously reported on the Inquisitr. That Jon might be the “little brother” from Cersei’s prophecy.

Game of Thrones Season 7 trailer spoiler No. 4: Who is Davos talking to?

As mentioned earlier, Jon Snow and Davos will travel to meet with Daenerys in Game of Thrones Season 7. In the Season 7 trailer, Davos can be heard warning an unidentified character that the outcome of the fight for the Iron Throne will not matter if they are not alive to sit on it.

Since Jon Snow is well-aware of the situation with the White Walkers in Game of Thrones Season 7, it is terribly unlikely Davos is trying to convince Snow of a threat he is well-informed about. Davos’ words seem geared towards another contender for the Iron Throne, Cersei, or Daenerys to be specific.

Is this audio from Davos and Jon’s meeting with Daenerys in Game of Thrones Season 7? Is he trying to convince her that the “great war” could be more urgent than her attempt to rule the Seven Kingdoms? There is only one way to learn for sure. Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres July 16 on HBO.
