Meghan King Edmonds’ Baby Girl Spotted Without Helmet, Is She In The Clear?

Meghan King Edmonds’ baby girl, Aspen, has been spotted without her helmet and now, fans are wondering if the youngest Real Housewives of Orange County star is okay.

As fans may recall, Meghan King Edmonds opened up about her daughter’s “wonky” head during an interview with Bravo TV’s The Daily Dish earlier this year and explained that the baby’s head was misshaped due to how she was situated in her womb.

“They see a lot of babies like Aspen with their heads like that when the mom is really small and has a small pelvis,” she said at the time. “And Aspen was so far down low [when I was pregnant] that she formed to the shape of my pelvis.”

In an effort to correct the shape of her head, Meghan King Edmonds purchased a helmet for Aspen and for the past few months, she’s been wearing the device. However, in a recent photo of the child, Aspen was seen helmet-free.

On June 1, Radar Online shared a report regarding the health of Meghan King Edmonds’ first child, the fifth for her husband, Jim Edmonds, and revealed that Aspen may finally be in the clear. As the outlet explained, the couple was in Cabo recently to celebrate Jim’s daughter’s wedding and during their trip, Aspen was seen hanging out by the pool without her helmet.

Meghan King Edmonds has been chronicling her daughter’s struggles on Instagram in recent weeks and yesterday, after the child was seen without her helmet, the Real Housewives of Orange County star confirmed that Aspen no longer needed the device.

“Today is Aspen’s last day with her helmet,” Meghan King Edmonds wrote in an Instagram post to her fans and followers on May 31. “She wore it for a short six weeks due to the plagiocephaly (kind of like an oblong skull) that developed due to her positioning low and “sunny-side-up” in my womb. With physical therapy and sleep positioning her skull shape improved until we hit a plateau and decided to proceed with the helmet.”

Meghan King Edmonds joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County during the series’ 10th season in a full-time role and has continued on with that role in the seasons since. That said, in January of this year, the reality star was believed to have quit the series after just two seasons.

According to a report from Us Weekly magazine in January, multiple sources confirmed Meghan King Edmonds’ exit from the show before she ultimately decided to reunite with her co-stars months later.

“Producers felt that bringing her back full time could be good for her and good for ratings,” a source confirmed to Radar Online last month. “Meghan started off as being a friend or a guest on the show for this upcoming season. She was really wanting to focus on her family.”

Then, after growing close to a number of her co-stars, including Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador, Meghan King Edmonds was reportedly upgraded back to her full-time role.

“Negotiations fell through with production on with a potential new cast member, so they were able to make room for Meghan. She was the last person to get an offer to return to the full time cast,” the insider added.

Meghan King Edmonds and her co-stars, including Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and Shannon Beador, are expected to return to Bravo TV this summer in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 12.
