Phaedra Parks is currently waiting to learn if she has been fired from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The previous season has just wrapped and Phaedra was caught in a lie. She had been the one who had started the rape rumors involving her former friend Kandi Burruss and her best friend Porsha Williams. Parks claimed she had heard from Kandi herself that Kandi wanted to drug Porsha for the sake of sex, but Williams was shocked to learn that Parks may have made up the lies herself.
For a while, Phaedra Parks faced rumors that she had broken her Bravo contract, as the contract supposedly states that the women cannot make up lies about one another for the sake of ratings. While they can discuss rumors that may be true, they cannot make up rumors. According to a new tweet, Phaedra Parks is now revealing that she’s choosing to look at faith rather than fear. Perhaps she’s talking about her work with Bravo.
“Faith and fear both require you to believe in something you cannot see. Choose #faith #midweekmotivation,” Phaedra Parks revealed on Twitter this week, sharing that she’s choosing to follow faith and just hope for the best.
However, her Twitter followers had various opinions about her tweet, especially since she hasn’t taken responsibility for lying about the rape rumor.
“One foot in the church and one foot in the club will not work with God. So choose today which God you will serve,” one person wrote to Phaedra, while another added, “The only thing you serve & put 1st is yourself. Get your life straight before [advising] others on how to live theirs. #NotTheBestExample.”

Bravo has yet to reveal whether they are recasting Parks on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. After the reunion special aired, many rumors surfaced that Phaedra would be fired from the show. Parks hasn’t really said much about how she feels in regards to the supposed firing, but many viewers don’t want her back on the show.
After getting her name cleared, Kandi Burruss opened up about Parks and she explained that she doesn’t understand why Parks has such a huge problem with her.
“I was shocked, angry, disgusted… I could go on. Even with everything that had happened between me and Phaedra, I still didn’t think Phaedra would go so low as to tell someone that I wanted to drug them. Being an attorney, you would think she wouldn’t intentionally spread defamatory false statements about someone. The sad thing was that she didn’t even seem sorry for what she had done,” Kandi wrote in her Bravo blog about the entire rumor, revealing that she doesn’t understand why Phaedra Parks has such a problem with her.
“She already assisted Johnnie in helping him to meet an attorney to sue me, and now I find out she was spreading accusations that I want to drug people and take them home! This is too much. I’m so glad the truth finally came out and I’m glad to be able to move on from this,” Burruss explains.

Even though Phaedra has released a statement about things happening for a reason, it sounds like she isn’t too worried about being hired again for the show. But Bravo may want to fire her because fans are disgusted with the way she lied for the sake of ratings. They are clearly not happy with the way things have unfolded over the past couple of weeks.
What do you think of Phaedra Parks’ tweet about choosing faith over fear? Do you think she’s talking about her role on The Real Housewives of Atlanta?
