‘iZombie’ Season 3, Episode 10, Preview: Liv Sees Dead People As She Role-Plays With Peyton

Episode 10 of the CW Network’s iZombie Season 3, has Liv Moore seeing ghosts. Also, for fans of the episode in which Liv ate the brain of a dominatrix, now is a chance to see Liv on the other side as a sub.

Episode 10 of iZombie Season 3 is called “Return of the Dead Guy.” You can view the full synopsis, as listed on Comic Book Movie, for Episode 10 of iZombie Season 3 below.

“Peyton (Aly Michalka) and Liv (Rose McIver) find themselves on a surprising wild goose chase. Ravi (Rahul Kohli) is terrified when the zombie truth hunters’ plans are revealed. Elsewhere, Major (Robert Buckley) finds comfort in an unexpected – and perhaps unwelcome – friend. Malcolm Goodwin and David Anders also star.”

Episode 10 of iZombie is directed by Viet Nguyen and was written by Talia Gonzalez and Bisanne Masoud.

The synopsis has plenty to say, yet doesn’t actually reveal very much. It is unclear just what sort of adventure Liv and Peyton will go on, although the trailer below does reveal a potential storyline.

As for Ravi discovering the truth about the zombie hunters’ plans, it seemed like that had already been done in last week’s episode of iZombie when Don E (Bryce Hodgson) was absconded by this group and shown to Ravi. However, it seems kidnapping a zombie and recording their transformation for YouTube is not really the worst they can do. Promotional stills for Episode 10 of iZombie, however, reveal Ravi checking over Don E, so, in this episode at least, his death is not likely imminent.

The final part of the synopsis involving Major was hinted at in Episode 9 when he came across a woman who sympathized with the Chaos Killer rather than just sending him hate mail like everyone else. Major decided to meet up with Shauna (Sarah Jurgens) at the end of the episode. It seems, in Episode 10 of iZombie, Major could come to regret this new hook up.

The new trailer for Episode 10 of iZombie Season 3, reveals Liv’s old boyfriend — who is supposed to be dead — has returned to wreak havoc on her life, hence the title of the this episode, “Return of the Dead Guy.” At first, in the clip, it seems like Drake (Greg Finley) is really there, leading fans to wonder just how he returned from the dead. But, as the trailer continues, a shot showing Liv kissing thin air, reveals she is likely having visions of Drake.

“You must be freaked out,” Liv says to Peyton.

“Oh, watching my zombie roommate talk to a ghost? That’s what I call Tuesday,” replies Peyton in the trailer for Episode 10 of iZombie Season 3.

While the identity of the brain Liv will likely consume this week in iZombie hasn’t been revealed yet, fans are now wondering if she eats the brain of someone who can see dead people. Only by tuning into Episode 10 of iZombie Season 3 will reveal the answer though.

Finally, the trailer reveals Liv and Peyton in some role-playing. Liv is seen on all fours, proclaiming she has been a “naughty girl” as Peyton stands over her wearing a latex outfit and cat ears. It is this part of the trailer that could reveal information on the “surprising wild goose chase” mentioned in the synopsis.
