Abby Lee Miller’s Prison Check-In Date Revealed

Abby Lee Miller is headed for prison after hiding over $775,000 from the United States government. The former reality star was also busted for bringing in money that she earned in Australia without claiming it at the border. She attempted to implicate some of the Dance Moms mothers in helping her in a recent interview, but thus far, no one has responded to her allegations.

The dance teacher is hoping to serve her prison sentence at either Apple Valley or Victorville, as she’s heard “good things” about both locales and she hopes to continue working while she is in prison. As Abby Lee Miller seems somewhat devoid of friends and family, she has stated she would like to use visiting hours in order to ensure that she continues to get things done.

According to Radar Online, the reality TV star will be reporting for prison on June 25, not June 30 as previously stated.

While in prison, Abby Lee Miller has stated that she hopes to learn accounting, Spanish, and write a tell-all book about her experiences with Dance Moms.

The former reality star told Radar Online that she was shocked to hear her prison sentence, mostly because she expected to pay everyone and “make financial amends” before she went into prison.

Miller has said that in addition to learning accounting (so she doesn’t repeat her mistakes) and learning Spanish, the former reality star is also creating a new scripted TV series. And of course, it’s all about dancing.

“I hope to come out and have a new TV show, a scripted show that I’ve created,” she opened up to Us Weekly.“And it’s kind of, you know, a teenage show where Dance Moms leaves off, what should happen next because I know what should happen next.”

She has teased that former members of the TV show Dance Moms would also appear on the show, but seeing as her relationship with many of the original cast members is now incredibly strained, it is likely she means some of the newer cast members.

Abby Lee Miller quit Dance Moms in the middle of filming Season 7B, which she denies is because she anticipated she would be going to prison. She left the show with a caustic Instagram post, accusing the production staff of misogyny and sticking their nose in where it doesn’t belong. She also stated that she was tired of ridiculously small costume budgets and fighting for song choices.

In addition to all of the other projects she has up her sleeve, Abby Lee Miller is attempting to do a Dance Moms: The Musical Broadway show. However, since Lifetime created the show, she is evidently having issues with the production company (again) who want to do the whole thing themselves.

“We’re working on a Broadway show, Dance Moms: The Musical. But it’s a big fight with Lifetime because … they wanna do it, but they don’t know how to do it. That’s not what they do. So instead of turning it over to somebody that knows what they’re doing, they’ll just screw it up like they do everything,” she said.

The former reality star owes the government $160,000 in fees from her crimes. As a result, she has been on an interview circuit and the judge has granted her permission to move around from state to state before she is required to appear at the prison.

When asked if she was prepared to spend time in prison, she said she had no idea what to expect. At the time of the interview, she was still wondering if she would be allowed to take some of her personal belongings, if she could use a computer and if she could wear socks to bed at night.
