‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Katie Is Wyatt’s New Girlfriend? Summer Spencer Shocker

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the summer promise lovelorn Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will finally get a new love interest, and the latest soap magazines say that who Wyatt falls for is shocking. What could be more shocking than Wyatt getting into a hot new romance with his former stepmother, Katie Logan (Heather Tom)? Here’s why Katie and Wyatt could be B&B’s hot new couple.

1. Wyatt Doesn’t Have a Lot of Love Options

New Bold and the Beautiful spoilers also reveal that Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) is on her way back to LA for a B&B return, but she’s Wyatt’s cousin, so while that would be shocking, it would also be disturbing. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt’s recent ex, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), are happily hitched, so she’s off the romance roster for the foreseeable future.

There’s always Darlita (Danube Hermosillo), who is cute and single but not the sharpest crayon in the box. There doesn’t seem to be a reason for Darlita and Wyatt to cross paths and she’s a minor player, so scratch that off. But what about The Bold and the Beautiful’s Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer)? She’s single, but the B&B spoilers promise this romance is surprising – and there’s no surprise there.

2. Katie Wants Revenge on Bill and Quinn

We also know from recent Bold and the Beautiful spoilers from Soap Central that Katie blackmailed Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) into giving her a job at the fashion house. Now Katie is pushing for a jewelry line of her own. There are some B&B rumors that Katie will push too hard and gets fired, which has her out to get Quinn more than ever.

As for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), he dumped her and married her big sister, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), but not before his shenanigans sent Katie into a drunken spiral. Katie hasn’t forgotten that. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint Katie has been playing nice with Bill, but there’s something more afoot. Hooking up with Wyatt would horrify Quinn and Bill both.

3. Wyatt Wants Some Payback Too

Don’t forget, Wyatt might want some revenge against his parents, too. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Wyatt hasn’t forgotten that his mom hooking up with Eric Forrester (John McCook) drove a wedge into his new marriage with Steffy. Quinn’s actions caused Steffy to move out, which led to the confrontations over Quinn and Eric and, ultimately, Steffy and Wyatt’s divorce.

Then there’s Bill. We know from The Bold and the Beautiful’s history that Bill has always heavily favored Liam. Acting out by dating Katie would certainly get his father’s attention, even if it’s negative. Wyatt might find common ground with Katie on giving Quinn and Bill a taste of their own medicine. Bill and Quinn could find themselves burned by this new Katie-Wyatt romance.

4. Katie Needs Romance, So Does Wyatt

Both Katie and Wyatt have been lonely and without romance since Bill dumped her and Steffy dumped Wyatt. There’s also the fact that this potential Bold and the Beautiful couple has something else in common. Both Katie and Wyatt were floored when their sibling married the person they loved. Brooke took Bill from Katie and Liam took Steffy from Wyatt.

Katie and Wyatt both need some loving, and they have lots in common they could share as pillow talk. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal Katie wants revenge against all the hurts she’s been dealt and getting involved with Wyatt could get her payback while also healing her. There’s not a huge gap between them — just eight years — so there’s nothing to stop them from getting involved.

5. “Kyatt” Is Something New – and That’s a Good Thing

One thing Bold and the Beautiful fans get tired of is the same old couplings played out over and over. There’s Steffy getting with Wyatt and Liam with Ivy in the mix — and Brooke bouncing between Ridge and Bill. At least with Wyatt and Katie, if it happens, this is a fresh new couple that B&B fans haven’t seen before and it would be refreshing.

The other new romance at The Bold and the Beautiful, Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) have B&B fans cheering. If the showrunners have taken note, maybe they’ve got fresh new pairings in mind to liven up Bold since it can sometimes fall into a romantic rut. We’ll know soon enough if Katie is Wyatt’s new love, according to the latest Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.
