Farrah Abraham Finds A Date, Are She And Simon Saran Over For Good?
Farrah Abraham was presented with three eligible bachelors during last night’s episode of the Teen Mom OG after show.
Following a split from on-again, off-again boyfriend Simon Saran earlier this year, Farrah Abraham sat down with host Nessa Diab to discuss her dating relationships and what she needs to work on in the future.
“My therapist in the past said I don’t pay attention to who I am dating, and that gets me into bad relationships,” she said, according to a report by the Daily Mail on May 30.
As Teen Mom OG fans will recall, Farrah Abraham released a sex tape in 2013 and according to the reality star, the film has had an impact on her dating life in the years since.
“It’s made it interesting, I’ll tell you that!” she admitted. “It helped me really channel in what a lot of men are about and really try to find somebody who’s more together than most men.”
Although Farrah Abraham has been working with a therapist, she has yet to find a stable relationship and on Monday night, she attempted to start a new pattern of dating with a blind audition. During the show, as fans may have seen, Farrah Abraham was blindfolded and allowed to smell each of her three suitors before selecting one of the men for a date.
As the Daily Mail revealed, Asaf, a 25-year-old vegan, surprised her with a kiss during her sniff test and quickly got the attention of the sex tape star.
“You’re going to get a punch,” Farrah Abraham threatened before ultimately selecting Asaf as her date.
“You have fashion, you have style, you’re a go getter, I like what I’m seeing,” she explained to her date after making her decision.
Farrah Abraham’s love connection on Teen Mom OG comes just weeks after the reality star revealed she was dedicated to being single.
“I honestly have just dedicated myself to being single for a while,” Farrah Abraham revealed to OK! Magazine last month. “I think Simon and I are hopefully working towards bettering our friendship and having better communication in that way. I don’t feel I need a relationship right now and I think it’s good for both of us.”
According to Farrah Abraham, Simon Saran often discusses their potential engagement and wants to get back together but she’s decided that at this point in her life, she’s not open to being in a relationship with Saran. She also said that because an engagement didn’t happen, she knows she needs to move on.
“I think Simon always brings up the engagement and always brings up getting back together and those things,” she continued. “I, again, have just made the choice to stay single and focus my energy a bit differently. I think Simon has had enough of my time.”
During her relationship with Simon Saran, Farrah Abraham made it clear that she was not willing to wait very long for an engagement. In fact, during an episode of Teen Mom OG years ago, she informed Saran that waiting years for an engagement was for “ugly girls.” At the time, the comment was believed to be aimed at Maci Bookout, who waited several years for her now-husband, Taylor McKinney, to propose.
