'Baywatch' Movie Stars Efron and Johnson

Zac Efron And Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Drop Some Bombs About Underwater ‘Baywatch’ Kiss

Last Thursday night, as reported by Moviefone, Zac Efron went on The Late Show With James Corden and had a very interesting conversation in which he discussed his Baywatch co-star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in very intimate detail. To be specific, Zac described what The Rock tasted like during their underwater kiss in the movie. Hint: he liked it.

Efron was noticeably taken aback when, in the middle of a conversation about working with Dwayne Johnson on Baywatch, Corden suddenly blurted out “what does The Rock taste like?”

Not only is it an odd way to phrase the question, but Efron had already made his stance on the kiss he had shared with Johnson for the movie fairly clear; a previous report from the Inquisitr reveals Efron thought the man-on-man kiss, which occurs underwater during one of the movie’s dream sequences, had been “funny” and that he had much preferred his kiss with Alexandra Daddario.

Efron’s answer made it seem he had not initially been totally on the level, though.

“Kissing a dude is weird at first,” said Efron, “but he tasted kind of like a Winterfresh commercial. Or like cherry ChapStick. It was crazy.”

Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom and Silicon Valley star Zach Woods, both of whom happened to be on the show with Efron, temporarily forgot their own projects in order to devote 100 percent attention to the anecdote.

Efron smiled, continuing that he had been amazed at how great of a kisser The Rock was and that he had thought the kiss was “awesome.”

“It was like, ‘What? He’s good at that, too? Jeez, man,'” Efron laughed.

“He’s just the best at everything. It was an awesome kiss, and one off the bucket list for me, for sure.”

Corden is apparently a pretty big fan of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, so he was incredibly envious.

“I can safely say I would give up everything in my life for one open-mouthed kiss with The Rock,” Corden joked.

Not that Johnson was getting the short end of the stick in the lip-to-lip exchange. Efron has been one of the most sought-after heartthrobs in the world ever since he burst into the Hollywood limelight with High School Musical over a decade ago.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is certainly a hot commodity in the “I’d love to kiss them” department, but Zac Efron might be even hotter, and Johnson knows it.

“Millions and millions of young ladies, and ladies in general, want to know,” Johnson told Entertainment Weekly when they asked how kissing Efron had been. He then revealed that Zac’s lips had been “soft” and that the kiss had been great.

You probably shouldn’t expect Efron and Johnson to shack up together anytime soon — The Rock is currently dating singer Lauren Hashian, and Efron is taking a break after his semi-recent breakup with model Sami Miro — but it is good to hear they at least had some fun on the Baywatch set with a situation that could have bee a little uncomfortable if the actors had not gelled so well.

Movie Pilot notes that fellow hunks Efron and Johnson being side-by-side on screen was one of Baywatch‘s primary selling points, so does the fact that the two actors obviously hit it off mean we will be seeing more of them together? Even though the movie is getting thrashed by professional reviewers, the star power of its Efron-Johnson core has caused it to become a sensation on social media.
