Kate Middleton And Prince William Moving Amid William’s Failed Rescue Bid As Royal Relatives Eye Nearby House

For Kate Middleton and Prince William, their Norfolk idyll is coming to an end. Anmer Hall was a great place for their first few years of married life, but now Prince George and Princess Charlotte are growing up, Kate and William are getting serious about royal duties, and it’s Prince Harry’s turn to set up a family home and country retreat with his girlfriend, Meghan Markle.

According to the Express, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking at buying a family home in Norfolk so that they can be close to Middleton and William when the Cambridges are taking some downtime from their busy schedule.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge won’t be selling Anmer Hall, but they are moving to Kensington Palace in time for Prince George to start school this fall. Prince William’s air ambulance pilot career is coming to an end too, and the Cambridges’ Norfolk house will become a family retreat instead of a base for his work.

He’d already made the decision to retire from the military and become a full-time royal, but this week a tragically failed rescue has certainly made it easier to say goodbye to piloting the ambulance helicopter.

People reported that Prince William was on duty when a 16-year-old boy got into difficulties while swimming at a regional park. Bystanders saw the helicopter land and were shocked to see the Duke of Cambridge leave “the helicopter to help with the search and rescue” without any “visible guards or protection.”

It was just another day on duty for William, but the attempted rescue ended badly. The boy’s body was recovered from the lake and pronounced dead at the scene. William loves his job, but with scenes like this one a daily part of life, it’s no wonder he’s ready to move on.

Kate Middleton may be ready for the big change as they take up permanent residence at London’s Kensington Palace, but not all members of their staff are thrilled. Thier housekeeper, Sadie Rice, quit the job in a surprise decision that cited Middleton’s demands for Rice to take on ever more work.

The Daily Star shared that a royal insider said Sadie, 35, “had become overworked,” and the last straw was Kate Middleton’s requirement for Rice to move to Kensington Palace with the family.

Only a few months ago, Kate Middleton had to hire a new personal secretary, although in that case, the staff member left to get married. However, the double loss of high-up staff in Middleton’s household makes life more challenging for Kate.

Sadie has a great resume and tons of experience though, so it’s possible that if she wants to stay in Norfolk, she could find a job with the new royals on the block. If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle buy a home in the area, they’ll be hiring staff. Kate Middleton’s former housekeeper could be exactly the person they are looking for.

Markle has no experience operating in royal circles, but Kate Middleton’s head maid started her career as a maid at Buckingham Palace. She was so good at her job that Queen Elizabeth herself approved her. Her years with Middleton mean she’s up on all the latest quirks of the royal family, and her support would be invaluable to Meghan and Harry.

The world is waiting for an announcement that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged. All the signs are present that there is an understanding between Harry and Meghan.

The Suits actress went to a polo game to watch her prince compete, and in British upper-class society, polo is the place where secrets come out and relationships go public. More importantly, Markle was Prince Harry’s guest at Pippa Middleton’s wedding, and now the two are househunting.

Do you think Kate Middleton’s housekeeper will work for Harry and Meghan?
