Niall Horan fans are ecstatic to see him perform live on the Today Show on NBC for Memorial Day 2017, but they have a couple of questions that can only be answered by other One Direction fans.
Interestingly, what is not being posted on Twitter are fan-based directions for the audience. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, One Direction concerts were often discussed on Twitter by 1D fans, and they would compile directions for audience participation.
Although there are many worst One Direction concert posters out there that are rated by other 1D fans on social media, there are also other ways fans participate during the concerts.
For example, before concert dates for the On The Road Again tour, One Direction fans had hashtags for each city with directions about how the audience should use their phones to display different colors on their phones when specific lyrics were sung during the concerts.
There are also a large number of cultish traditions that fans are not talking about so far on social media in regards to the Niall Horan Today Show appearance. Rainbow Bear was a fixture during the On The Road Again tour, and One Direction fans slowly added to the lore in the American leg of their tour by adding Rainbow Bondage Bear.
Regardless, the Niall Horan concert for the Today Show is still two days away, and this gives his fans plenty of time to populate #NiallToday with audience suggestions.
Three days before the appearance, Niall Horan tweeted that he was excited to see “all the lovely people” at the Today Show concert on Memorial Day.
Of course, on Twitter, Niall Horan’s fans are quick to show their excitement and are showing off the fan passes required to attend the Today Show performance.
Despite the fact that NBC published a guide on their website about everything fans need to know in order to attend Niall Horan’s Today Show performance for their summer concert series at Rockefeller Plaza, fans on Twitter still seem to have a lot of unanswered questions.
For example, camping out to see any concert at the Today Show is a standard, and fans stayed outside the concert area overnight to be there early in the morning to see Miley Cyrus perform on May 26.
About camping out for Niall Horan’s concert on May 29 in New York City at the NBC headquarters, one fan asked the following.
“For anyone who has ever camped out for a Today Show, how early should I get there to be somewhat close to the stage?”
Sadly, camping overnight is not a way to guarantee a ticket to see Niall Horan’s show because NBC has a lottery system to distribute tickets. Therefore, one other key question appearing on Twitter is who has Niall Horan Today Show fan passes that they do not want.
In fact, one desperate Niall Horan fan posted on Twitter that they would give as much as $100 to get a fan pass to the Today Show.
Obviously, Niall Horan’s solo career has been a success so far with “This Town” and “Slow Hands,” but Niall has not announced an official tour or record release date.
Instead, it is clear to many Niall Horan fans that his Today Show appearance is one of many performances he will do over the next year. So far, concert dates for Niall Horan’s Unofficial 2017 Tour have been compiled by fans and can be verified on websites like SongKick or TicketMaster.
There will also be more new music coming from Niall Horan over the next months. In 2017, Niall Horan’s only new music has been his release of “Slow Hands” on May 2. Reviews since the release of “Slow Hands” indicate that Niall Horan might be channeling his rock star gods, such as Fleetwood Mac, according to Metro.
Also adding to the new music intrigue, Niall Horan signed another music deal on May 16 with Downtown Music, according to Billboard. Unlike his deal with Universal Records in France that he signed in September, 2016, Niall Horan’s contract with Downtown Music will specifically administer his publishing rights.
What will Niall Horan’s new music be like? He did recently team up with country music star Shania Twain to do some studio work, according to Irish Mirror. Despite this, working with Shania Twain might have been a learning session for Niall Horan instead of a produced recording session for his next release.
On May 27, it was announced by Niall Horan in several interviews that he would have an album “sometime” in the fall, according to Ireland Independent.
When Niall Horan visits the Today Show, he will also be meeting up with Carson Daly for a second time in a month. The first instance was at the KIIS FM Wango Tango festival where Niall Horan performed.
About his upcoming new music, Niall Horan told Carson Daly on May 16 during a 97.1 AMP Radio interview the following about what fans should expect.
“I’ve decided to ride it out, see what happens, and then kind of let people know when I’m ready to go.”
