‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Finds A Clue, Victor Gets Nervous, And Chloe Snaps

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease tense moments are ahead during the week of May 29 for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). The search is on for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and Chelsea needs to find her to bring her husband, Adam Newman (formerly Justin Hartley) justice.

According to the June 12 issue of CBS Soaps In Depth, Chelsea inches closer to finding her former BFF, Chloe, but could open Pandora’s box and reveal Victor’s (Eric Braeden) role in Adam’s “death.” If that happens, Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that it entirely possible she will discover that Nick knew that Victor was involved and call her to question their relationship.

Chelsea Becomes Obsessed With Finding Chloe

Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Chelsea uses her power of persuasion to convince the hospital administrator at the mental facility that Chloe called home to tell everything she knew about the former mental patient. At first, the psychiatric hospital head said that she couldn’t give her any information, but Chelsea convinced her that she needed to find Chloe for her own good. Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that she explained that Chloe hasn’t talked to anyone in the family for a long time and they are all so worried about her. Eventually, the administrator gave in and told her everything she knew about her.

“Chelsea is so borderline obsessed with finding Chloe that she doesn’t even recognize herself —but it’s understandable,” Young and the Restless actress, Melissa Claire Egan shared.

“There was such a deceit and betrayal, and feeling like Chloe is getting away with it again. She got away with hitting Adam with her car, and she got away with all this stuff she did in her past. Chelsea forgave her and welcomed her into their lives. And, then she finds out that Chloe was lying to her for the past six months about murdering her husband while helping her raise her son.”

Nick Takes Sides

According to the Young and the Restless promo, Nick will be forced to take sides. This vendetta and need to find Chloe has put a huge strain on their relationship. Nick has been distant because he is hiding a secret from her too —he hasn’t told her that his dad was the one who brought Chloe to Genoa City to frame Adam.

Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Nick really wants to help Chelsea get the closure she needs. Not only that, but he needs to seek justice for his brother’s murder. He knows that Chelsea will be upset when she learns he kept Victor’s involvement from her, but Nick reached a point that he just wants her to finally get the closure she needs so they can move on with their lives.

“It’s such a layer story, “Young and the Restless actor, Joshua Morrow explained.

“He really wants to do the right thing and be there for his lady, but every step she takes toward finding Chloe is one step closer to hurting his father –so this is a really bad position for Nick to be put in.”

After an internal battle, Nick decided to there for Chelsea and supported her even if it leads her straight to his father. Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Chelsea is happy that Nick finally is giving her the support she needs and welcomes the help to seek justice for Adam.

After reaching a dead end with the hospital administrator, Nick and Chelsea get a lucky break when a woman mopping floors in the mental hospital give her a lead —find Dr. Harris. Young and the Restless spoilers state that he was the one who signed Chloe’s release papers last year.

Chelsea Has A Hunch

Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that when Chelsea tracks down Dr. Harris, she believes he knows more than he lets on. Chloe’s former shrink tells Chelsea and Nick that he has no idea where she could be hiding. He claimed that he hadn’t seen her in a very long time. Chelsea admitted that he sounded genuine and decided to go back to Genoa City to plan her next move.

Chelsea and Nick return to their car, and something makes her feel uneasy. She begins to get a nagging feeling that something was off about the doctor. Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that when they return to Dr. Harris’ home, they get a huge shocker.

“What she finds when going back, I think everyone will find quite interesting,” Egan said.

Will Chelsea Figure Out Victor’s Role In Adam’s Death?

Chelsea believes that Victor is supporting her because he cares. At this point, she doesn’t even suspect that he could have had any role in Adam’s death. Also, to add to that, she has no idea that Nick knows that Victor was responsible for bringing Chloe to Genoa City to hurt Adam. When it all comes out, it will be messy, to say the least.

“The Young and the Restless fans are going to be really shocked by what happens in the next couple of weeks,” added Egan. “It’s not what anyone is expecting.”
