Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright faced rumors of a breakup earlier this month.
According to a report by Radar Online, Jax Taylor’s romance with the Kentucky native reached a rocky patch after they filmed their Vanderpump Rules spinoff series, Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, in Cartwright’s hometown.
“[Jax Taylor] and [Brittany Cartwright] had a hiccup with their relationship because of the show,” a source close to the couple told Radar Online on May. “He said he wants to marry her, but he’s not ready.”
Following the reports, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright seemingly added to the speculation of a possible split by failing to speak of one another on social media as they are known to do. They also failed to share any new photos of one another up until last night when Jax Taylor surfaced on Instagram and Twitter and shut down all reports of a potential breakup between himself and Brittany Cartwright.
Days after Brittany Cartwright shared some photos of herself and a couple of friends enjoying themselves in Las Vegas and shared a re-tweet about life dealing out lemons, she and Jax Taylor reunited in Los Angeles where they were seen dressing up for what appeared to be a masquerade party.

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright began dating one another about two years ago after meeting during a trip to Las Vegas. Shortly thereafter, Cartwright packed up her belongings in Kentucky and headed west where she moved into Taylor’s apartment in West Hollywood, California.
During the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules, which saw the debut of the couple’s relationship, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright bickered frequently due to the size of their apartment before ultimately moving into something larger. Also during Season 4, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright spoke of a future marriage and Taylor didn’t seem to be on board.
While Brittany Cartwright made it clear that she wanted to get married and have children in the future, Jax Taylor seemed to be completely against the idea. One season later, Jax Taylor was once again confronted about a marriage by Cartwright’s mom, Sherri, who came to Los Angeles for a visit during Season 5. As fans will recall, Sherri told Jax Taylor and her daughter that they should join a church and wondered if Taylor had plans to settle down.

After filming on Vanderpump Rules Season 5 was complete, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright landed their own series and began filming the show in her hometown.
“Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are getting their own Vanderpump Rules spinoff, and they’re leaving Los Angeles to get it. No, not permanently, but the couple will be heading back to Brittany’s homestate of Kentucky for the series, titled Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky,” E! News confirmed last month.
“The half-hour series will debut this summer and find the couple heading on vacation…to a Kentucky farm that Brittany’s family lives on, with Jax switching out his SUR uniform for overalls as the ultimate fish out of water tried to embrace the Southern lifestyle. Will Jax be able to survive life on the farm?”
The series will also watch as Jax Taylor faces Brittany Cartwright’s family’s marital pressures and attempts to win them over at their family farm.
Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s spinoff series is set to air sometime this summer on Bravo TV. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
