Carrie Underwood Reveals Plans For Another Baby, Gushes Over Her ‘Wonderful Little Family’

Carrie Underwood is revealing her and husband Mike Fisher’s big plans to have another baby and give 2-year-old son Isaiah a sibling.

Underwood spoke out about expanding her family with the Nashville Predators captain in a new interview with EXTRA, where the country star hinted that she and Fisher could soon become a family of four.

When asked if she and Mike could be welcoming a new addition into their family soon, Carrie admitted that she gets asked that question “a lot” but revealed that she and her husband of seven years are leaving their baby plans up to the universe.

“We are not in control of things like that,” Underwood said of her and her husband’s baby plans with a coy smile, shortly after sharing an adorable photo of her son and husband dancing together on Instagram.

But while Carrie didn’t reveal if her tease means little Isaiah could be getting a sibling sooner rather than later, Underwood did tell EXTRA that she and Mike had a “perfect little family” when discussing her son, who celebrated his second birthday in February.

“Our son is absolutely amazing,” Carrie said of the toddler who she often shares sweet photos of on social media. “He’s just such a sweet guy and, you know, we have a wonderful little family.”

Carrie previously spoke out about giving Isaiah a sibling earlier this year, telling Entertainment Tonight back in April that she and Fisher were on God’s timing when it comes to getting pregnant for a second time.

“We’re on God’s good timing or whatever you might call it,” Underwood said during an interview with the outlet last month when asked about her possible pregnancy plans. “I’m just trying to figure out where life’s going to take me next.”

Adding that Isaiah has not asked her or Mike for a sibling, Carrie Underwood admitted that her son even gets jealous of her two dogs, Ace and Penny, when her attention is on them.

“Oh, no,” she said. “As a matter of fact, if a dog climbs up on my lap, I feel like he gets a little jealous of the dog.”

But it sounds like little Isaiah may have to get used to not being the center of attention, as Carrie has admitted on numerous occasions in the past that she’d like the 2-year-old to have at least one sibling.

Speaking to People at the American Country Awards back in October 2016, Underwood revealed that she would like to have another baby after seeing her son grow but joked that she and Mike’s schedules are just too busy to actually plan having a second baby.

“He’s an easy baby,” Carrie said of Isaiah at the time, teasing “Oh definitely!” when asked if she and Mike will have another and expand their family to four.

“I’m not sure when because we’re both kind of busy these days,” Underwood joked of their increasingly busy schedules getting in the way. “But yeah, definitely. And I’m like, ‘He’s so good — I could do a few more of those.'”

Underwood shared a similar sentiment just weeks earlier, revealing that she sees at least one more baby in her and Fisher’s future as well as a family home in the country.

Telling the outlet that she “definitely sees one more baby” entering the Fisher household within the next five years, Carrie added that she believes she and her hockey star husband will have moved further out of the city in Tennessee and “living in the country” as a family of four or more.
