PS Plus June 2017 Lineup Leaked? Free Games Include ‘Life Is Strange’ And ‘Killing Floor 2’

PS Plus is Sony’s paid membership program that releases a set of free games for supported consoles every month, allowing its members to download the titles and own them forever. As such, every member is always anticipating the inclusions of the next lineup, hoping to score great games they have yet to own.

Sony usually announces the next month’s lineup a couple of days before the start of the month, which is when PS Plus is refreshed. However, it might have been revealed a little early this time. The good thing is that members seem to like the two leaked games in PS Plus June 2017.

PS Plus June 2017 Leak

PlayStation’s official Turkish Twitter account revealed that Killing Floor 2 and Life is Strange are going to be part of next month’s lineup. The accidental tweet has now been deleted but not before some users managed to take a screenshot.

People cannot be mistaken about this leak as it shows a photo of the games’ covers placed side by side and then marked with the PlayStation Plus logo. With the hashtag “#PSPlus,” it is safe to assume that Killing Floor 2 and Life is Strange are the two PlayStation 4 titles that will be offered for free next month.

Members are ecstatic about this announcement as next month may have the best PS Plus lineup yet. Life is Strange, in particular, has overwhelmingly positive reviews and is one of the best titles PS Plus has to offer. Killing Floor 2, a first-person shooter zombie game, is also a great choice.

Here’s to hoping that the two titles will also be offered on PS Plus June 2017 U.S.

PS Plus June 2017 Predictions

The mentioned titles above are only for PS4, so there are still four games left in secrecy. If the two games do end up in PS Plus’ June 2017 U.S. lineup, all that is left to speculations are the titles for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, Drakengard 3, and Mortal Kombat 2011 are some of the PS3 titles predicted by the official PlayStation forum users. Out of all the predictions, it seems the role-playing game Drakengard 3 is the most requested. It is the third installment in the series and the prequel to the original title. The game was released exclusively on the PS3 in 2014 and while it is not as great as the first title, it is worth to have in gamers’ collection.

For the PS Vita platform, titles such as Salt and Sanctuary, A Rose in the Twilight, and Persona 4 Golden are being thrown around. No one can be sure which titles are really going to make it to the June 2017 lineup, but a Persona game is likely since the sixth installment titled Persona 5 has just been released. Offering it on the PS Plus is a great way for players to play a previous title in the series should they find the latest game to be enjoyable.

PS Plus May 2017

In the meantime, gamers may partake in PS Plus’ May 2017 lineup while it is still live. The current month’s offerings are some of the best yet with Tales from the Borderlands and Abzu for PS4.

For PlayStation 3, PS Plus members can download Blood Knights and Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants, while Laser Disco Defenders and Type:Rider are available for PS Vita owners. The last two titles are also available for PS4, so that makes four free games for the current-gen console this month and every month.

The current lineup will be replaced with next month’s, which will hopefully include Life is Strange and Killing Floor 2 in the U.S., next week. The announcement should come within the next few days.
