‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Leah Messer Engaged Or Married? Photo Leaves Fans In Shock
Is Leah Messer headed for her third marriage?
According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star and mother of three, who has been married twice in recent years, recently sparked rumors of a possible engagement on social media by sharing a photo of numerous rings on a ring finger.
On May 24, OK! Magazine shared a report regarding Leah Messer’s post, revealing that the reality star’s fans and followers were “freaking out” over her potential engagement and possible wedding.
“[Teen Mom 2] fans were NOT expecting this! Leah Messer shared a few photos of beautiful nail designs, but fans couldn’t get past the stunning engagement and wedding rings in the photo. Did she get married?” the outlet asked readers.
Leah Messer married her first husband, Corey Simms, in 2010, about one year after the couple welcomed twin girls while filming their episode of 16 & Pregnant. Then, just months after their wedding, Leah Messer admitted to sleeping with her former boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, and she and Simms’ marriage came to an end.
Months after her divorce from Simms, Leah Messer began dating Jeremy Calvert, and in April 2012, they got married.
Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert remained married until late 2014 when Calvert claimed the mother of his now-4-year-old daughter, Adalynn, had cheated with Kidd yet again. Since then, the couple has been successfully co-parenting their daughter.
Although Leah Messer doesn’t appear to be engaged or married at this point in time, OK! Magazine pointed out that the reality star’s ring photo came just days after she attended the wedding of her cousin. As fans may recall, Leah Messer posted several photos of her daughters at the wedding and revealed her youngest child, Adalynn, had served as the flower girl during the ceremony.
After Leah Messer posted the photo of the rings, fans quickly weighed in on her possible engagement or wedding.
“Are you engaged??? I really hope so, you deserve true love and real happiness,” one person wrote.
“Love the nails & the ring???? Hello? That looks like a wedding band!! #givethemsomethingtotalkabout,” another fan added.
After facing numerous rumors, Leah Messer ultimately returned to social media to clear up the speculation, telling fans, “NOT MY HAND! Haha.”
“THIRD pic is of my hand hahahah,” she said.
Leah Messer’s ring photo comes just weeks after a man named Scotty Ayre claimed to have had a secret fling with the mother of three in August of last year.
“We were a ‘thing’ but she didn’t know what she wanted so we just fell out,” Ayre told Radar Online earlier this month. “It was a train wreck dating her!”
Although Leah Messer has been accused of abusing prescription drugs in the past and visited rehab for anxiety and depression in 2015, Ayre claimed Messer never took anything that she wasn’t prescribed.
“She’s not a druggie at all! She’s a good-hearted girl,” he said. “I wish she would give me another chance, but I have to let her come to me. I can’t chase her.”
Ayre said he reached out to Leah Messer in hopes of getting another chance with the single mom, but unfortunately, she’s ignored his text. As for why she may be doing so, Ayre said she may be secretly back together with her second husband, Jeremy Calvert.
Leah Messer and her co-stars, including Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, and Chelsea Houska, are currently in production on Teen Mom 2 Season 8. The series is expected to return to MTV sometime later this year.
