Farrah Abraham Blasts Amber Portwood Following Sex Tape News: She ‘Tries To Be Me’
Farrah Abraham is convinced Amber Portwood is trying to be just like her.
Following news of Amber Portwood and Matt Baier’s recent meeting with Vivid Entertainment, the same company who sold Farrah Abraham’s 2013 sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, Abraham is speaking out about her Teen Mom OG co-stars.
“Again seems like Matt and Amber are working with corrupted old management of mine, Gina Rodriguez, who is a failed porn star and I would caution them but they’re felons and criminals,” Farrah Abraham explained to The Dirty on May 24. “So see why they hope to follow in footsteps of mine, the envy of them wanting to be me never fails, as I see it copying and following in my footsteps is a little old- like Matt is.”
Farrah Abraham sold her sex tape, which also stars James Deen, to Vivid Entertainment years ago and was quickly launched into super stardom. In turn, Abraham maximized on the film’s success by releasing a line of sex toys, writing several erotic novels, and making appearances at strip clubs.
As for Amber Portwood’s potential for the same success, Farrah Abraham had her doubts and questioned whether venturing into the porn industry was the best decision for her.

“As Amber has enough mental issues and body issues, I doubt doing a sex tape at 26 is in the right direction,” Farrah Abraham continued to The Dirty. “Her surgery didn’t work. Good luck to Vivid and Matt and Amber, as I see all their drama and fake set up press is really not entertaining and cries to wish they were famous.”
“It’s sad how hard Amber tries to be me. Matt the conman who doesn’t even like her and is trying to pimp her out to get money for himself. This is all sad. Amber is a washed up felon,” she added.
Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood have been at odds for years, and after Portwood claimed to have quit Teen Mom OG at the end of last year, Abraham quickly called her bluff during an interview with Us Weekly magazine.
As fans may recall, Amber Portwood told fans on Twitter that she would not be participating in the currently airing season of Teen Mom OG due to disrespectful behavior behind the scenes. She also said the way she was treated and portrayed on the show was unfair.
Following Amber Portwood’s exit claims, Farrah Abraham released a statement.
“I’m out of the drama. None of the girls will quit — they like the attention, need the money and their boyfriends need the money too much to quit,” Farrah Abraham told Us Weekly. “I get Amber is embarrassed of her actions, but she flip-flops and will be right back to filming. This is dramatic. She can quit and not make it public if she really was done.”
As Farrah Abraham suspected, Amber Portwood later returned to the show.
Although Amber Portwood has not yet confirmed that a potential sex tape will be released, she is currently in talks with Vivid Entertainment and already facing tons of backlash from her many fans and followers on Twitter.
Portwood and Baier met with the porn distributor earlier this month while in Los Angeles to attend the MTV Movie And TV Awards.
