Jill Duggar Uses Baby Due Date As Excuse To Escape With Husband Derick Dillard, Family Reveals New Baby Name

Jill Duggar, her husband Derick Dillard and their baby son Israel are back in the states. On and off for the past two years, they have been working in Central America as missionaries, but it looks like they are using whatever chance they get to return home for lengthy periods of time. The last time that they were in the U.S. with their baby boy was right around October 2016, and they did not leave for their mission until well into February 2017.

This time, Jill Duggar has returned to Arkansas with her husband and son because of the fast-approaching due date of her second baby. It looks like the mother of one did not want to risk miscarriage or other birth complications in poor medical system, and that she wanted to be with her family during one of the most important moments in her life.

Jill and Derick DIllard announced that they are expecting another little one right before Christmas, saying that they are excited to give Israel a new sibling.

“Words can not describe how excited we all are that God has blessed us with another precious gift,” Jill and Derick wrote on their family blog. “We are eager for another sweet Dillard baby to join our lives come July, and we know Israel will be a great big brother. Don’t forget to check back here often for updates on our family and our ministry and remember to tune in Counting On on TLC as this pregnancy unfolds! We are so excited!!!”

Unlike her other sisters, Jill chose to give a specific baby due date so that her fans do not start speculating on when she will deliver her second child. The fact that she is expecting her baby in July means that the picture above shows her well into her third trimester.

The 26-year-old Duggar has confessed in the past just how dangerous it is to live a life with a baby in Central America. Last year, the fans of 19 Kids and Counting and Jill & Jessa Counting On were shocked to hear that there had been many times that Jill felt scared for her life.

“One night, we were getting ready to go to bed, and we heard this loud crashing sound,” Jill said to TLC. “Derick’s like, ‘You go in the bathroom,’ which is our safe room. We have our laptops, so we were messaging people back home like, ‘Pray for us. We don’t know what’s going on.'”

Another instance that Jill and Derick reported on their blog confirmed just how dangerous their mission is. They talked about how their friend got fatally shot, which made their fans even more worried about their well being.

“We received a phone call on Monday from a friend here in Central America informing us that one of our other good friends (a fellow Christian) had been murdered the day before and that his family had found his body down by the river earlier that morning,” they wrote.

So it is no wonder that Jill feels very relieved to be back home, where she does not have to worry about getting shot, losing her baby or her husband.

“So grateful to be back in the States and get to go to our church this morning,” Jill wrote on her Instagram, using hashtags like, “#Israeliswithgrandma,” and “#lovetheUSA.”

She also is excited to have a belated birthday celebration with her family before her baby due date. Jill and Derick were still in Central America when she turned 26. Her family, using their Facebook, sent out many good wishes to her.

“Happy birthday to our precious Jilly! From the moment we laid eyes on you, your father and I knew you were destined to do great things for Our Lord,” Michelle Duggar wrote. “We love your faithfulness, your character, and your sense of humor. We love you and are looking forward to seeing you soon!”

Being back home meant that the fans of the Duggar family got to know more about the Dillards – in particular, the nickname they use to call Israel. Turns out, Michelle, his grandmother, likes to call him “Izzy,” which is a perfect abbreviation for the cute little boy.
