Amber Portwood Isn’t Happy With MTV, Find Out What She’s Accusing The Network Of Doing
Amber Portwood reportedly went off on MTV during a recent taping of the Teen Mom OG after show.
According to an audience member who was in attendance during the recent filming session in Los Angeles, Amber Portwood went on a rant against the network, suggesting the show would be nothing without her and claiming they sent out to cause drama between her and her brother, Shawn Portwood.
“[Amber Portwood] totally called out MTV and went off on a total rant for like 10 minutes,” the audience member revealed to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on May 23. “It came right after the part where she says that no one can make her do or say anything for the cameras, but they cut out what she said next. She even said, ‘They’re going to edit all this out but f**k MTV! She kept saying she has other deals in the works, and other people want her, and that MTV should just fire her but they won’t because they need her.”
Amber Portwood reportedly went on to point out that after she had entered into what was supposed to be a five-year prison term, Teen Mom came to an end. As fans will recall, it wasn’t until after Portwood’s early release in November 2013 that she and her co-stars returned to filming for the series’ reboot, Teen Mom OG.
Amber Portwood was sentenced to serve time behind bars after failing to complete a drug rehabilitation program as part of her probation requirements for an assault charge she had previously received.

“[Amber Portwood] also said that when she was in prison there was no Teen Mom because they couldn’t do it without her, and that as soon as she got out, they brought the show back,” the audience member explained. “She said that she has her own deal in the works, and that if MTV doesn’t stop trying to f**k with her, that she’s walking away. I thought for sure that someone from MTV would come out and try to stop her from talking crap on them, but no one did.”
In addition to Amber Portwood’s complaints, her on again, off again fiance, Matt Baier, also got in on the action and suggested MTV was at fault for upsetting him during the latest episode of the show.
“He said he knew they’d take their great trip and just use that one part where she doesn’t want to marry him and make it look like she didn’t want to be with him,” the audience member alleged.
During the latest episode of Teen Mom OG, Matt Baier was seen flipping out after Amber Portwood turned down the idea of an elopement in Las Vegas. He even called Portwood’s brother, Shawn, a “f****t” and proclaimed that he would never marry her.
Amber Portwood’s issues with the network were also in reference to her alleged drama with Shawn, who was reportedly tricked into filming the MTV special. As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup explained, producers reportedly told Shawn he was in attendance to surprise his sister and chat. However, what they really wanted was Shawn’s reaction to what Baier had said about him on Monday’s Teen Mom OG.

“[Amber Portwood] was more mad at them for trying to start something with her brother,” the audience member added. “That really pissed her off and she said that they keep trying to ‘f**k with her and her family.'”
