Ever since Sonny Kiriakis returned to Salem, he hasn’t been the same. While some of the changes are good, some people are concerned. He is more confident and has goals that he wants to accomplish. Sonny never trusted Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry), even when everyone else in the family seemed to forgive him. It turns out that Sonny’s instincts were right and is more determined than ever to bring down Deimos on Days Of Our Lives.

While everyone else is focused on rescuing Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and baby Holly, Sonny has one thing in mind. He is in Greece to take down Deimos, prove to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) that he was right, and be put in charge to run Titan.

On yesterday’s episode of DOOL, Paul Narita voiced his concerns to Sonny. He was worried that being put in charge of Titan could change Sonny. Freddie Smith’s character told Paul that he was not going to change and certainly wouldn’t turn evil. Paul accepted his answer, but fans couldn’t ignore that the former baseball star was still concerned. What is going to happen with these two?

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Deimos Kiriakis will be arrested by Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Sonny will call Victor to tell him what happened. After urging Victor to put him in charge of Titan, John Aniston’s character agrees and Sonny is given the huge promotion. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Freddie Smith reveals that one of Sonny’s goals is to prove himself to Victor as someone capable and trustworthy.

On the way back to Salem, the plane crashes. Sonny is stranded on an island with Paul, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), and Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Eager to be in charge of Titan, this makes Sonny frustrated and angry. Eventually, they will be rescued. In the meantime, the group will have to practice their survival skills.

DOOL spoilers for the next few weeks reveal that the new title at Titan will put Paul and Sonny at odds. The two will end up in a big fight. Paul sees Sonny changing into a different person. Fans are starting to see these changes, as well. Will these two be able to reconcile or will they break up?

Things are going to get even more complicated this fall. In October, Chandler Massey is returning to Days Of Our Lives. Reprising the role of Will Horton, what will happen when Sonny realizes that his husband is actually alive and back in Salem? Will Sonny be forced to choose between Will and Paul? There is even more trouble coming up for Freddie Smith‘s character. According to Jason47’s Facebook page, it appears that Sonny ends up hospitalized around Halloween. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will be by his side, but where is Paul and how does Will fit into all of this?
