Another ‘Breaking Amish’ Conviction, This Time For Sabrina Burkholder!

For some reason, the stars of Breaking Amish can’t seem to stay out of trouble. One way or another, one of the stars has to end up in jail for something or another. This time, it’s star Sabrina Burkholder who’s been caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar.

According to Radar Online, the Breaking Amish star pleaded guilty to the charges three days ago. The 30-year-old was originally arrested on April 28 and got hit with a slew of charges related to drugs, including possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with an unregistered vehicle, and possession of an uncontrolled substance.

“Radar has learned that despite her plea hearing on May 19, she is still behind bars. Burkholder first rose to fame on Breaking Amish in 2012, and fans watched her welcome her two daughters Oakley, 3, and Arianna, 5 months, on the show. Her struggle to keep custody of Oakley has been chronicled on the TLC hit.”

For what it’s worth, too, Burkholder isn’t the only Breaking Amish star to find herself in trouble with the law. (Not that it makes it any better, but it’s interesting that so many of the cast members have found themselves in trouble, even more than cast members from other shows.)

In a different report for Radar Online, it was reported that Breaking Amish star Jeremiah Raber was recently arrested for assaulting his wife. He was arrested in Live Oak, Florida, after Carmela — his wife of one year — filed the charges.

“She told responding officers that he made ‘several threats to cause [her] harm,’ and proceeded to show cops ‘several large bruises on her legs and arms’ that were allegedly caused by her husband ‘striking her with a closed fist.’ The officers noted that she claimed he ‘strikes her on a daily basis.'”

Of course, for his part, Jeremiah categorically denied the claims that his wife made against him, and said that the “truth will come out” when they finally go to court.

“Jeremiah insisted he has ‘evidence’ to prove his innocence. ‘As of now I have nothing really to say other then the real truth will come out in the end,’ he said. ‘This is not a one-way street. It goes both ways and I have the evidence to prove it and it will be released soon enough.'”

So far, nothing has “come out” from Jeremiah or his family to prove his claims.

And there’s even more Breaking Amish drug drama: according to yet another report for Radar Online, Chapel Schmucker-Peace was recently arrested for a slew of drug charges, including some of the heavy-duty stuff like heroin, meth, and more than $27,000 in undeclared cash and weapons.

Schmucker-Peace’s arrest was part of a larger drug sting called “Operation Ice Storm,” which took place in Dubois, Pennsylvania.

“They arrested 27 people on charges of drug dealing, and Schmucker-Peace, 33, was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, and intent to distribute the drugs. Just two months earlier in January 2016, Schmucker-Peace was under fire again after she gave her probation officer someone else’s “clean” urine, according to reports.”

What’s more, even though her bail was set at $10,000 — which is a pretty low number, especially considering how much she was caught with — the Breaking Amish star is still in jail because she’s unable to post the bail.

It should be interesting to see how the story is developing in the future, but as of right now, there seems to be more stars in trouble than there are who are not.
