Lady Gaga Launches Exclusive Urban Outfitters Merchandise, Rocks Orange Hair for ‘A Star Is Born’

Lady Gaga has had an exciting week with the launch of her Urban Outfitters line of merchandise and starting on filming for A Star Is Born, directed by and starring Bradley Cooper. It is Lady Gaga’s first acting role in a major film.

Considering how extreme Lady Gaga has been known to be with her fashion statements in the past it might seem kind of strange that she’s partnered up with Urban Outfitters to launch her Joanne tour promotional merchandise. However, Lady Gaga has toned down her style image lately to be more in tune with mainstream fans. She keeps her extreme fashion pieces for the stage, but her Urban Outfitters merchandise is the kind of thing that any young Lady Gaga fan would want to add to their wardrobe.

Why would Lady Gaga go with such a mainstream retailer to launch her Joanne tour merchandise? Bustle suggests, “A merch collection at a cool retailer like Urban Outfitters brings her back down to earth just a bit.”

The line of clothing for her Joanne tour includes things like t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, hats, tote bags, jackets, caps and other cool pieces. Lady Gaga’s line started showing up on the Urban Outfitters site on May 22, 2017.

Fans of Lady Gaga can get something to show their love of Mother Monster and her music for a reasonable price. The totes, which have an image of Lady Gaga in pink shades on one side and “Joanne” on the other side in pink neon, start at $16. T-shirts are $28. Fans that want something a little more unique and are willing to dish out the money can get a Lady Gaga Joanne Tour Bomber Jacket for $279. You can also get the actual music at Urban Outfitters, too.

Lady Gaga has been showing her style as she gets ready to film A Star Is Born. She is so adaptable and considering all that she’s gone through, her role in the movie is very suitable. As Teen Vogue said, “The songstress has experimented with plenty of hair and makeup makeovers since the beginning of her career.”

On the set of A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga was spotted with a bright orange-red head of hair. It was a wig that was worn long with waves cascading over her shoulders. Daily Mail reported that Lady Gaga wore leopard print boots and red striped leather pants with a black and white top with ruffles and “oh” printed over the body of the blouse.

Lady Gaga will be playing the role of Ally in the remake of A Star Is Born. Some of the songs that will be heard in the movie are written by Lady Gaga.

There have been several versions of A Star Is Born in the past. The first one was in 1937 and the second in 1954. The 1976 version of A Star is Born is likely the one that people are most familiar with. It starred Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. Barbara Streisand is legendary because of that role in A Star Is Born. For many people, it was how they learned to love her music.

Barbara Streisand is not involved in the new A Star Is Born movie that stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, but she gave her opinion to Extra and said, “I feel great about it because I know ‘A Star Is Born‘ will work; it works every time… because the music can change with the decades, so I know it’s gonna work.”

A Star is Born is not expected to be in theaters until September 28, 2018.
