Mar-A-Lago Sinkhole: 4-Foot By 4-Foot Sinkhole Opens Right In Front Of Mar-A-Lago As Trumps Visit Wailing Wall

There hasn’t been a ton of news about Mar-a-Lago lately, at least not since reporters visited Mar-a-Lago recently and reported back just how easy they found it to hack Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, due to unsecured WiFi networks and printers with no passwords, as reported by the Inquisitr. However, with President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump gaining buzz for a Twitter tweet from a former White House staffer that claimed their divorce papers were signed and a divorce settlement reached, Mar-a-Lago as the “Winter White House” hasn’t dominated the news. However, Mar-a-Lago made “bigly” news on Monday due to a sinkhole.

According to the Town of Palm Beach, in a post published on May 22, the following Mar-a-Lago sinkhole information was released.

Sinkhole in front of Mar-a-Lago

“A 4? x 4? sinkhole has formed on Southern Boulevard directly in front of Mar-a-Lago. It appears to be in the vicinity of the newly installed water main. West Palm Beach Utilities distribution crews have secured the area and will most likely need to do some exploratory excavation today. One lane is closed but the road remains open. Please pay attention to signs.”

An article from The Hill, titled “Sinkhole opens in front of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort,” has been shared more than 8,000 times. The piece contains lots of quips from people on Twitter who are likening President Trump’s activities overseas to the sinkhole that has opened in front of Mar-a-Lago.

As seen in the top photo above, Melania stood in front of the Western Wall, also known as the Wailing Wall. Considered the holiest prayer location of Judaism, the Wailing Wall is often visited by Christians in Jerusalem’s Old City as well, who tuck prayer notes into the wall.

Melania’s visit to the Wailing Wall happened on Monday, May 22, the same day that news about the sinkhole in front of Mar-a-Lago broke. As a result, Twitter users are taking screenshots of President Trump’s activities at the ancient limestone wall or Mr. Trump’s other activities abroad and comparing the two with quips such as, “the orb always demands a sacrifice” and such.

President Trump also visited and touched the Wailing Wall as well on Monday, becoming the first sitting President of the U.S. to do so, as reported by NBC News. The publication notes that Mr. Trump also tucked a note inside the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, and called his visit to the Western Wall a great honor.

Meanwhile, news about the Mar-a-Lago sinkhole has caused the sinkhole to get its very own Twitter account. Photos like those below, showing President Trump placing his hands on an “orb,” are now the center of jokes about the Mar-a-Lago sinkhole being a portal to hell.

Photos of the Mar-a-Lago sinkhole are also making the rounds on social media.

More than anything, people are viewing the Mar-a-Lago sinkhole as a metaphor for things that can’t necessarily be put into words, calling the sinkhole a sort of foreboding omen. A sampling of the comments being published about the Mar-a-Lago sinkhole from social media users can be read below.

“Perfect adjective for all things .”

“Mysterious sinkhole forms in front of Mar-a-Lago.”

“But I thought the sinkhole was in Saudi Arabia right now.”

“Trump: Forgive me, father for I have sinned… God: *Opens sinkhole in front of Mar-a-Lago resort.*”

“Possible fake news here. Time lists the Sinkhole as 4 ft by 4 ft. I thought Trump was closer to 6 foot 5.”

“LISTEN the sinkhole in front of Mar-a-Largo is NOT a coincidence. Florida is trying for a hard…reset we know we f***** up.”

“It’s not a sinkhole. It’s the gate to hell.”
