How Is Teresa Giudice’s Husband, Joe Giudice, Doing In Prison? Joe Gorga Speaks Out Amid ‘RHONJ’ Season 8

Teresa Giudice’s husband is currently serving a 41-month prison term for charges of bank and wire fraud.

As Teresa Giudice and her co-stars, including her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, prepare for the upcoming premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, they are also busy with their new restaurant. And days ago, Joe Gorga offered an update on Joe Giudice’s condition.

“Joe’s doing good, you know, he’s doing his thing, he’s working out a lot, looking great,” Joe Gorga revealed to Extra TV’s AJ Calloway during the opening of their new family restaurant, Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza in East Hanover, New Jersey.

Teresa Giudice’s relationship with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, has been strained in the past. However, after the reality star began facing legal hardships, the family put their differences aside and rallied around Giudice to support her and her daughters as both she and Giudice served time behind bars.

As fans of the Bravo reality series may recall, Teresa Giudice served 11 months at the Danbury Correctional Institution in Connecticut in 2015. After she completed a weeks-long house arrest, her husband, Joe Giudice, entered into his 41-month prison term at the Fort Dix Correctional Institution in New Jersey. Meanwhile, the couple’s four daughters have been forced to adjust to life at home with just one parent.

Teresa Giudice and the Gorgas celebrated the opening of their new restaurant, which honors their mother who passed away in March, at the end of last week.

“Today is the grand opening, so we’ll see how everybody else feels about it,” Melissa Gorga told Extra TV of their exciting project.

“Everyone’s gonna love it,” Teresa Giudice promised. “Everyone’s gonna love our recipes — they’re my mom’s recipes, my mom’s the one that taught me how to cook and my dad’s an amazing cook also, so we wanna keep their legacy going, as you know my mom’s not here with me anymore, she’s here with me in spirit… This is what got us going to do this, you know. We just want to keep her legacy going.”

As for the past issues, Teresa Giudice said that she and the Gorgas have grown closer since teaming up for their new business venture and noted that being able to honor their mother with their restaurant has been a blessing.

“I mean, we’ve always gotten along, so this has gotten us even closer, and everything that happened with my mom has just brought the family… I’m happy that we are doing this we’re doing this in memory of my mom, like, we want to keep her recipes going and out there and share them with the rest of the world,” she said.

In other Real Housewives of New Jersey news, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga recently traveled to Italy for a filmed vacation with their co-stars.

“The trip was good,” Teresa Giudice said.

“Yeah, it was nice. We got to get away, go to Milan — it’s something we don’t normally get to do together without our husbands, and we had a nice little sister-in-law trip,” Melissa Gorga added.

Teresa Giudice and her co-stars have been seen with Danielle Staub throughout production on Season 8, but so far, the nature of Staub’s role on the series has not yet been confirmed.

Teresa Giudice and her co-stars, including Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, and Dolores Catania, are expected to return to Bravo for The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 8 sometime later this year.
