Khloe Kardashian & Tristan Thompson: ‘Curse’ Resurrected In Time For Playoffs

Is Tristan Thompson the latest male to fall victim to the “Kardashian curse”? After the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Boston Celtics in Game 3 on Sunday night, at least one report surfaced claiming that the loss was inevitable because Khloe Kardashian and her sister Kylie Jenner were at the game.

There have long been stories about this “curse,” which basically affects any male who gets involved with a Kardashian (and that has been extended to a Jenner from time to time). From Lamar Odom to Scott Disick, the men who have dated Kardashian women have had some serious hardships in life. Odom’s life hit rock bottom after he and Khloe separated; he nearly died after an overdose. Disick has struggled with alcohol and lost both of his parents.

And while these things could just be facts of life or coincidental, the word “curse” has made its way into the ears of the Kardashian clan. The whole idea was actually brought up on Keeping Up with the Kardashians last year.

According to Perez Hilton, Kourtney Kardashian’s now-ex-boyfriend (and the father of her three children) Scott Disick went to see a psychic with Kendall Jenner because he started believing that there might have been some truth to that rumored Kardashian curse. During a tarot card reading, the psychic told Disick that it appeared as though something was going on — and she actually told him that she felt he had a curse on him.

“The cards talk a lot about a load of negative energy… Everything that you try to do, you have a tendency to have many obstacles in front of you. To answer your question, I would probably say you do have a curse,” the psychic told Disick.

In order to rid himself of the curse, Disick was told to get a rooster, wear all white, and then set the rooster free. No word on how that may have worked out for him.

Now, Khloe Kardashian is dating Tristan Thompson, and Hollywood Life seems to think that the curse is taking over — mainly because the Cavs hadn’t lost a playoff game (this season) until last night. Although Khloe has been to quite a few Cavs games over the course of the season, Hollywood Life seems to think that the addition of Kylie Jenner doubled down.

“Khloe showed off pics with Kylie via her Snapchat before the game. So far the reality star has kept her family at home for the games where she cheers on Tristan, spending games with her friends or his relatives. As bad luck would have it, as soon as Khlo-money brought some extra Kardashian/Jenner energy into the house at Quicken Loans Arena, the Cavs dropped their very first game of the post season.”

The Cavaliers have been great in the playoffs and were able to beat the Celtics in their first two games that took place in Boston. The match-up is intense, but not many people had their money on the Celtics to pull off a win in Game 3. Not only were the teams playing in Cleveland, but the loss of Isaiah Thomas was a pretty big blow. However, the Celtics were able to hold the Cavs and ended the game up by three points (the final score was 111-108).

The Celtics will take on the Cavs in Cleveland for Game 4 of the series on Tuesday night. Khloe is expected to be in the crowd, cheering on her man and his team.
