‘Better Call Saul’ Spoilers For Season 3 Episode 7: Can Saul Help Jimmy In An Episode Entitled ‘Expenses’?

Better Call Saul Season 3 is currently airing on AMC, and as the prequel to the hit series Breaking Bad, it is one of the rare shows where a prequel is as good as the original TV series. Better Call Saul Season 3 Episode 7 is entitled “Expenses” and will be broadcast on Monday, May 22, 2017.

Saul Goodman is trying to offload his services on low-budget commercial making services so that he can get rid of non-refundable airtime to the tune of $4,000. Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) created his alter ego “S’all good man” so that he at least has a chance of surviving his year of suspension from law. How will he survive?

Better Call Saul spoilers indicate that Goodman may provide Jimmy McGill with his primary income source since he has been suspended from practicing law for twelve months. In the meantime, he has to figure out a way to survive, eat and pay his debts. Speaking of which Spoiler TV indicates that Jimmy tries to settle his debts. Will Jimmy be able to earn enough money to cover all of his expenses with Saul Goodman Productions? Or will things turn sour and will he only go further into the abyss of debt?

The Better Call Saul trailer shows Jimmy looking very defeated. He looks run down and worried as he says, “It’s hard. Very, very hard.” The preview seems to indicate that Jimmy is facing tough times which begs the question if this situation could spark the Saul Goodman that Breaking Bad fans love to have a love-hate relationship with.

Better Call Saul’s Jimmy may start taking on some clients under Saul Goodman’s name but he will still be unsure how he can pull it off seeing that his right of appearance in court has now been suspended. He could avoid the courthouse but checks, invoices, and receipts would still leave a paper trail that would lead directly to him.

There may be another option open to Jimmy, and that would be to use the ISZ. If Jimmy were to take on clients and represents himself as Saul without them having any knowledge of the whole Jimmy debacle, he could ask them to make payment to ISZ. If he lists Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) as the owner and financial record keeper, he could establish a business free and clear of Jimmy McGill’s name.

Peter Gould, the executive producer of Better Call Saul, said in an Entertainment Weeklyinterview that Jimmy would do anything to keep the office that he shares with Kim.

“So the question is: How far is he willing to go to keep that office? And how far is he willing to go to keep that relationship with Kim Wexler? And I would say he’d go pretty far, because this seems to be the most important thing in his life. “

We also know that being a lawyer is central to Jimmy, as Gould puts it.

“If Jimmy had been willing to say, “All right, I resign my law license,” they wouldn’t have had to go through that whole hearing. So it’s central to him. And you can guess why. There are a lot of good reasons why. He worked like hell to become a lawyer, and I don’t think he’s going to let his brother take that away from him. In my mind, I think he has every intention of going back to the law once he sits out this year.”

The Better Call Saul spoilers also indicate that Nacho (Michael Mando) will have a reunion with someone from his past. The spoilers also state that “Mike helps Stacey with a project and makes a meaningful connection.”
