Melania’s White Pantsuit, Black Pussy-Bow Blouse: Pants A Bold Choice For A Woman In Saudi Arabia? [Photos]

First Lady Melania Trump can be seen in the above photo, with her hand in the left pocket of her white pantsuit, on Sunday, May 21, prior to the Arabic Islamic American Summit at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Melania stands out in the photo as a woman among the men, wearing her long hair down and uncovered, donning a white pantsuit and a black blouse. Unlike the black pantsuit that Melania wore upon landing in Saudi Arabia, this white pantsuit was more fitted, making it apparent that Melania was wearing pants.

As reported by the Inquisitr, Melania has worn a $1,590 khaki shirtdress, a fuschia cape dress, as well as $675 Christian Louboutin five-inch stiletto pumps. The black jumpsuit worn by Melania upon landing in the region was notably a flouncy and wide-legged jumpsuit that could easily be confused for a long dress. As reported by the Inquisitr, that black jumpsuit was upstaged by a big gold belt that gained comparisons to championship belts on social media.

However, Melania’s white pantsuit is garnering comparisons to Hillary Clinton’s penchant for pantsuits, and more observations on social media. Plenty of feedback over whether people believe Melania should or should not have worn pants is appearing on Twitter.

As noted by White House Wardrobe, Melania paired a black blouse with the white pantsuit, and noted that the black blouse came replete with a pussy bow. Previously, when Melania wore a pink pussy-bow blouse, as reported by Vanity Fair, folks interpreted that as Mrs. Trump sending a message to former President Bill Clinton, whether or not that was Mrs. Trump’s intention or not. Additional photos of Melania in the white pantsuit can be seen via Getty Images gallery of photos, such as this photo of Melania with her left hand in her pocket of the white pantsuit.

The attire of Melania in Saudi Arabia has been closely viewed due to the strict dress code that Saudi Arabia enforces upon women. As reported by the Guardian, Melania chose not to wear a headscarf, and Ivanka Trump chose not to wear a head covering as well. The kingdom doesn’t require women who visit Saudi Arabia to don a head covering, but it does suggest that females who visit wear black robes that are roomy while they are in public.

Saudi Arabia’s dress code has brought a conundrum of sorts to female visitors who must decide if they will follow the strict customs of the land or adhere to their own desires to dress as they wish. With Saudi Arabia being only the first stop on a foreign tour by the Trumps that will cover four nations and feature five stops, a plethora of fashion changes and choices will be made by Melania as she travels throughout Israel, Italy and Belgium.

Melania was photographed below in the Associated Press photos wearing the white pantsuit and black blouse as Mrs. Trump awaited President Trump’s speech on Sunday to the Arab Islamic American Summit, at the King Abdulaziz Conference Center.
