Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Breakup Rumors As He Works On New Album In Mountain Retreat

Kanye West surprised fans when he suddenly deleted all his social media accounts. The rapper and fashion designer fled to a Wyoming mountain retreat to work on his new album amid reports that he has split from wife Kim Kardashian.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have their third marriage anniversary coming up next week on May 24 and the “Famous” rapper was spotted dining alone in Santa Monica. According to Heat Magazine, Kim and Kanye are on a break.

“Right now, things are very tough for their marriage,” the publication reports on the famous couple’s relationship, according to The Sun. “We’re all concerned that this could be a sign their marriage is on the rocks and that they want time apart. Kanye is in a very odd place in his life right now, so he’s happy to take a break. Kim convinced him that this was the best solution for him, as it would allow him to take time out of the spotlight.”

Kanye didn’t attend the 2017 Met Gala with Kim Kardashian, and she reportedly told Andre Leon Talley that he was at home and decided not to attend. “He’s been taking some time off and really loving that,” Kim stated, according to E! News. The publication adds that their relationship is fine despite breakup rumors.

“He and Kim are doing fine,” a source said. “He has been taking time off and is totally supportive of Kim attending.”

There are conflicting reports on the status of their relationship.

Page Six reports that Kanye is isolating himself to work on new music, rather than marriage trouble with Kim.

“He’s far from any noise. He’s far from Hollywood and is very isolated right now. He wants to get back into his creative groove,” a source told the publication.

Before deleting his Twitter account, Kanye shared with fans that isolating himself helps him get his creative juices flowing. “I got rid of my phone so I can have air to create,” the rapper Tweeted from his now-deleted account.

Kanye West surprised fans last year when he came out in support of President Donald Trump. He later deleted all of his tweets supporting the new president due to his travel ban that targeted Muslims from certain countries.

His on-stage rant also targeted his friend Drake, Dj Khaled, and Chris Brown. He also demanded that Jay Z calls him during the concert stating the following: “Jay Z—call me, bruh. You still ain’t called me. Jay Z, I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Please call me. Talk to me like a man.”

Jay Z is yet to respond to Kanye publicly amid rumors that they are no longer friends.

He was subsequently taken to UCLA Medical Center to treat his reported hallucinations and paranoia. Several reports suggested that the breakdown was triggered by the Paris robbery of his wife in which she was held at gunpoint.

Kanye West has surfaced multiple times around Los Angeles in Calabasas, Santa Monica, and Malibu since retreating to the mountains to work on his new album. Last year, Kanye told fans that he planned on releasing a follow-up album to TheLife of Pablo titled Turbo Grafx 16. However, it was a working title and the album was not released. Rather, he added more tracks to The Life of Pablo, an album he described as “a living breathing changing creative expression.”

Kim Kardashian and Kanye has not been spotted together in weeks.
