Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Breakup Rumors: Rep Claims Rumors Are Untrue

The rumor mill has been busy churning out nasty gossips lately. Among its latest victims are Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani with their supposed split. Thankfully, someone was kind enough to look into the matter, and now fans may finally know if there is any grain of truth in these breakup rumors.

But first, a little background on how those nasty Blake Shelton – Gwen Stefani breakup rumors started. According to Gossip Cop, the entire story was just a fabrication. In other words, it is just another fake news story, encouraged by a misleading headline.

The publication cited the source of the rumor as the In Touch online magazine. Apparently, In Touch ran a story which basically announced that Blake Sheldon dumped Gwen Stefani with an attention grabbing headline that screamed: “Blake Breaks Gwen’s Heart.”

In addition, a live TV proposal where Blake will propose to Gwen was reported to be in the works. In Touch added that an insider revealed that even The Voice producers have agreed with the supposed live TV plan. Unfortunately, the outfit reported that it was Blake who decided to pull the plug on the supposed live TV plan.

While the headline basically said the Blake broke up with Gwen, In Touch’s article changed gears midway, Gossip Cop reported. It veered from the breakup story implied by the headline and went on to claim that Blake Shelton just wants to cool things down a bit, a move that might make his relationship with Gwen Stefani stronger in the long run.

At this point, the question that fans want to be answered is whether or not there was any kernel of truth in the whole splitting up story. Gossip Cop remains unconvinced saying that In Touch has a history of churning out misleading stories in the past.

For instance, the publication published a fake report around two months ago claiming that Gwen is contemplating on adopting a baby girl without telling Blake. Around a year ago, the same magazine likewise also incorrectly announced that Shelton and Stefani were having twins.

Gossip Cop concludes that the entire story of Blake pulling the plug on the supposed live TV proposal is based on a faulty premise since there were no plans for such proposal in the first place. In addition, Gwen Stefani’s rep confirmed to the publication that the rumors are simply not true.

Incidentally, when the Blake Shelton – Gwen Stefani breakup rumor came out, there is also a related rumor currently doing the rounds. According to recent reports, Blake’s ex, Miranda Lambert, just called it quits with Anderson East. And, of course, some imaginations started running wild, eventually raising the possibility that Miranda could reconnect with Blake.

Miranda decided to pull the plug on her relationship with Anderson East after the latter showed signs that he is yet unwilling to take their romance to the next level, according to a previous report by the Inquisitr. Apparently, Blake’s ex-wife was ready for a long-term commitment but the enthusiasm was not shared by East, who was not quite ready yet to talk about marriage.

As a result, the couple is currently on a break from each other. However, many are still hopeful that they could still get back together and that the cooling off period will not last for very long.

In fact, both parties are hopeful that the problem will be sorted out in the end. An unnamed insider claimed that Lambert felt that they were meant to be together. On the other hand, the same source revealed that Anderson is not ruling out the possibility of getting back together with Lambert and eventually marrying her.

As far as the possibility of Miranda going back to Blake, it still remains a possibility, though an unlikely one at that, considering how Gwen and Blake are still a couple. At the moment, Lambert is reportedly keeping herself busy with work, which would hopefully distract her from her problems with Anderson East long enough until things are sorted out.
