About A Bundle of Trouble: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery on HMC

Based on the Aurora Teagarden series by Charlaine Harris, Hallmark viewers will be reeled in once again as Aurora Teagarden tries to unravel the latest mystery. It all starts with a visit from Martin’s so-called niece, Regina, who arrives in town with her new baby, Hayden.

Aurora promises to be a good host but finds it odd that Martin doesn’t know much about his grown-up niece. According to Regina, she wanted her uncle to meet her new bundle of joy since the death of her parents has her feeling all alone. What is even more puzzling, Regina didn’t show up with the baby’s father, and she doesn’t mention anything about his whereabouts.

Meanwhile, Aurora and Martin head to a party while Regina and the baby settle in. But when they return, they find a dead man on the front porch and a strange man in her closet. They are shocked even further when they find baby Hayden in the bathtub.

At first, no one knows the dead man’s identity. He is later proven to be Craig, Regina’s husband. But who is the strange man in the closet? And what are they doing at Aurora’s home? Adding to the mystery, Regina has disappeared, and police are asking everyone in the area to call if they know any information about who could have killed Craig.

It’s at this point that Aurora’s sleuthing abilities kick in, leading to her first hunch that the baby might be a victim of kidnapping.
