Leah Messer Reveals What She’s Looking For In A Man On Instagram Amid Boyfriend Rumors
Leah Messer took to Instagram on Saturday, May 20, to reveal what she is looking for in a man.
Although the Teen Mom 2 star has faced rumors of a secret romance with Scotty Ayre and a reconciliation with her ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, she is currently single as she searches for the perfect gentleman.
“Raise your son to be a gentleman… Raise your daughter to expect nothing less,” read a meme shared on her page this morning.
Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert’s divorce was finalized in June 2015, and in the nearly two years since, the reality star and mother of three has been linked to just one man: her former personal trainer, Theodore “T.R.” Dues. As fans will recall, news of Messer and Dues’ romance hit the web in summer 2015, and while she never spoke of her romance with the trainer when they were dating, nor did she allow him to film with her for Teen Mom 2, her daughters later leaked their relationship to their father, Corey Simms.
During a reunion special for the show, Corey Simms questioned Leah Messer about her alleged romance and revealed one of their twin daughters had told him that Dues was sleeping over at their home.
Since Leah Messer’s relationship with Dues came to an end, she has continued to flaunt her happiness and self love on social media, as well as photos of her three daughters, twins Ali and Aleeah, 7, and younger daughter Adalynn, 4.
All the while, she has made it clear to fans that she is single. Most recently, Leah Messer posted a photo of herself, Aleeah, and Adalynn, and revealed she in no way needs to be in a relationship.
“Who needs a soul mate? Not me!” she wrote. “Love like this is immeasurable! My heart is always so complete! True Happiness if finally here and well deserved!”
Although Leah Messer claims to have been single in recent months, Scotty Ayre recently spoke to Radar Online and suggested he had been involved in a short-lived romance with the Teen Mom 2 star last August.
“We were a ‘thing’ but she didn’t know what she wanted so we just fell out,” Ayre alleged. “It was a train wreck dating her!”
Ayre went on to reveal that he never saw Leah Messer using illegal drugs and said she didn’t take anything that she wasn’t prescribed.
“She’s not a druggie at all! She’s a good-hearted girl,” he explained.
In fact, Ayre would love to have another shot with Leah Messer but said he wouldn’t chase her.

In other Leah Messer news, the reality star and her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, recently sparked rumors of a romance after they were spotted together at a bar in Charleston, West Virginia. As fans may have noticed, Leah Messer shared a couple of photos of herself and Calvert on Instagram at the end of last month and right away, fans began to suspect they were rekindling their relationship.
A short time later, Calvert, who is newly single after splitting from Brooke Wehr, insisted they were only friends.
“Me and Leah are not back together, we’re strictly friends,” he insisted to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on April 30. “If I run into my ex-wife, we’re going to act like mature adults for the sake of our child. If people don’t understand that they can kiss my a**.”
Leah Messer and her family, including Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert, are currently in production on Teen Mom 2 Season 8.
